Now he’s shite

There should be fear when Arkansas is giving more NIL money than Kentucky and taking their coach who wants out of there.

I wonder if UK is about to be hit with sanctions so he is getting out of dodge.

I’ve been laughing at Kentucky and Cal for a few years now. Don’t expect me to feel like this is a big win for Arkansas. The only good thing here is the massive NIL money

John Calipari leaving Kentucky has been on the table going back to February, sources tells CBS Sports.

He privately expressed significant/serious interest in the Ohio State job but the timing wasn’t right, per source. Arkansas coming available was a dream shot out of Lexington.

Ohio State could've waited to hire JC - but they hired a never-been-a-head-coach before former player instead of JC -

It’s almost like Arkansas fans are trying to convince themselves that this is a good hire.

Once that Ar-Kansas stench gets on you, you lose all credibility

WTF are you talking about?

Most in BBN wanted him gone, but our AD decided to retain him. No one up here is disappointed that he is leaving. And the only people the planet afraid of Arkansas are a handful of guys on a canoe trip.

And UK still had a top 3 class the past several years.

Why does this sound like Texas A&M circa 2018

I don't think a poster on here thought Cal was a Top 10 coach yesterday, maybe 15 years ago.

6 million a year for NIL. Our starting 5 could all be millionaires

Top 10 might be a stretch for RIGHT NOW. He's a top 10 active in terms of career achievements, no doubt, but you'd have to be blind to not see how poorly his teams have done over the past 6-7 years. The trend is not a positive one for him at this point.

A top 10 coach yesterday according to whom? He is a good coach but his days of being great are pretty far behind him. He hasn’t made it past the first weekend of the tournament in 5 years. He has had double digit losses in 3 out of his last 4 seasons. He is 65 years old

Arky wins more games than UK next year. And goes deeper in the tourney.
