Poor armadillos, they are harmless, just slow

We have a veritable smorgasbord down here of possum, armadillo, raccoon and the occasional deer.
Nature’s buffet.

Someone should get groundhogs imo.

In this part of Texas, a lot of skunks.

Alabama has fewer possum roadkills now that armadillos are here. The possums send them out to check for oncoming traffic.

I don't know that I've ever seen a rabbit on the side of the road in Arkansas

It's everything up here, but deer for sure. I've hit a couple myself.

There’s no roadkill in Louisiana. Plenty of trash but no roadkill that shite is in a pot at somebody’s house.

Drove to Louisiana from Tennessee yesterday. Saw a guy on the side of the road who ran over a gator who was on its back. Must have gotten a flat or something. Girlfriend’s first time in Louisiana. One of the few times I’ve said “welcome to Louisiana!” And was actually not ashamed to say it.
Edit: this was in Concordia parish

In Eastern Kentucky what you don't want to hit is an elk. 16,000 plus there.
