I’m from The Baton Rouge area and even I’d rather live here than somewhere where it’s cold enough for my nuts to fall off

Baton Rouge, but I’m a dyed in the wool southerner.
BR is near the bottom of Southern cities I’d want to live in, but it still beats shoveling snow

Mogadishu is safer than BR.

Well in Baton Rouge, its like living in a third world country and you are more likely to get killed or robbed.

Neither, but I guess give me Michigan.

Ann Arbor is considered one of the best college towns to live in and, well, Baton Rouge is not.

Go freeze your balls off with a bunch of women who don't wear make up and eat this shite. Be my guest.

Ann Arbor a much better town. Very yuppy. But that weather would suck.

Both towns are absolute dumpster fires. If you’ve had any life experience whatsoever, 0 chance you’re living here lmao.

Baton Rouge native here. But been living in Athens for nearly 30 years. So I get a cool college town with great weather and hot coeds ever fricking where.
I go back home on the regular and get reminded no matter how much I still love Baton Rouge I don’t think I could handle that next level heat or traffic anymore.
Yes BR has some rough areas and some ugliness but it has plenty of charming areas too and yes the food selection is awesome. And even the rough areas are interesting (in the daytime) I love going up to Tony's Seafood on Plank Rd. That’s a rough area but I think the folks i meet there are pretty cool.
I need an EBT card for boiled crabs!
