I don't follow recruiting super closely, but a random listen to Dawgnation daily had me so enthusiastic about this kid that i was disappointed when he signed with Mich and since they imploded I've been hopeful we might get another shot at him.
We need a prayer all the doom and gloomers can repeat when the Dawgs are struggling. Instead of venting their ignorant negative takes -Schumann is the worst, Kirby has lost it...whatever...they can just pray

Thank you God for Kirby Smart and what he has brought my beloved UGa football. I am an ignorant fan please guide my heart God to accept that Kirby knows what he's doing and I am but a dumbass. Please help me relax, and enjoy the rest of this game and season.

Damn. Kirby is the dean of sec coaches now.
Can't believe the off and on hate Bobo has received from the uga football intelligentsia. Bobo is a very good oc - maybe not elite, maybe not innovative, but very good. Plus he has UGA bloodline, married UGA royalty and his kid is the lynchpin of our OL. Kirby is our best coach ever, has us in the golden age of UGA football, and not only is Bobo his 'brother' but obviously Kirby believes in him as OC. PLUS besides his pure ability as an OC Bobo is great about coordinating 'complementary football' which is what makes UGA the juggernaut it has become. If the defense is struggling Bobo's offense can keep up with an O like Ole Miss. But ideally his O is a cog in the machine that strangles the will from opponents. I wish people would just accept how great a fit Bobo is for UGA, and his valuable contributions to what UGA football has become, and cut him some slack when the O isn't scoring a TD on every drive.

I think you hit the nail on the head with your 'young pups' nod. Kids have gotten better and staff has identified who the better players are. I love the way Cole and Demelo have come on and the DL may not be terrifying QBs but they are getting a good push and mostly controlling the LOS.

Big funeral in Knoxville

Heading east outta Knox (awesome town btw) today on Sevierville Rd there was a funeral that had what musta been a hundred police car escort. Any idea who it was?
2005 was the worst for me. The fourth down play came right towards me in the stadium and I watched in horror as the whole thing unfolded. Then the receiver was tackled right in front of me - it would have actually been better if he had scored.

2002 also for me. In retrospect that team seems like a juggernaut that was inevitable to break the drought but it actually took a miracle-ish play to get them there. Not a miracle on the order of 'Run Lindsay!’ but a miracle nonetheless.

Because I tell the truth? I believe what my eyes tell me unlike others. It is miserable watching this team play like they do with all the talent they have. Coaching/ scheme holds them back.

Then find something that doesn’t make you miserable. Tbh based on your relentless negativity towards this program you don’t deserve to be a uga fan.

Click on your handle and read your post history. Maybe you don’t realize what a consistently negative miserable sounding 'fan' you are
Re: one hit wonder. What Saban did at Bama will never be repeated. During that stretch there were maybe one or two teams per year nationally that could realistically challenge him. And Saban had his share of hiccups too. Now there are maybe 10-12 teams out there every year that are pretty much equal. When you play an equal team it's basically a coin flip and you are going to lose half those flips. Look at our 22 team - as dominant as that team was winning the Natty meant getting by Oh St and we could have VERY EASILY lost that game, in fact maybe should have. With the current landscape Kirby just needs to position this team to be in the mix every year then let the chips fall. Best case scenario is playoffs almost every year and a Natty maybe every few. This team will continue to grow and improve and there is a good chance they will be in the final 12 and from that point they will have a puncher's chance.
I am 100% with you PC. I been going to UGa games since 1975 and have been living in Athens right up from Butts-Mehre since 1997. I understand the passion and disappointment from a loss like this. I don’t want to call out individuals but the degree of teeth gnashing and second guessing is ridiculous. Even in this golden age of UGa football there are going to be hiccups. It was a glorious weekend in Athens. We lost a tough one. We have one of the best coaches to ever coach. If a grown man will let it ruin his life because a kid dropped a pass or missed a block or he doesn’t think a coach like Kirby Smart is running his program right than that is just a shame. I’m going to go on enjoying living at ground zero of UGa football during its golden age, watching the coeds walking past my house all day, and trusting Kirby.

shite son even kirby said something to the effect that ut deserved to win. I guess he’s a self loathing sob too. As for me i been living two blocks from butts mehre for thirty years so there is self loathing and then there is THAT. Stop by sometime if you’re ever in Athens. Grreen metal roof red uga flag.

I'll upvote you bro. Even as a uga fan I feel bad for yall- yall deserved to win. It’s clear Heupel is no gimmick, flash in the pan. Every year yall seem to get a little better. And boy, yall were probably down when nico did his thing but that turned out great for yall. Aguilar is a gamer but his degree of success has to be significantly attributed to the rest of the team and the coaching staff. To be able to plug and play at qb says a helluva lot.
UGa has always had good to great teams. The historical consistency is amazing. I’ve been a fan since 75 and there have been maybe 6 teams that were not good. In the 90s UF and UT were just next level and we couldn’t break through. Right now we are next level and it is indeed the golden age of Uga football.

Wdhal. Dissertation level shite there. Well done.
honestly best to the kid. he came to uga, sat a couple of years and waited his turn, had a great season that got uga to the cusp of a threepeat and then had another season that he took his knocks yet kept his mouth shut and basically actdd like a man. he moved on and so did we and i sincerely wish him the best.

He did a lot of squatting, like if he squats, his plays might work. This dude is the worst coach to ever offensive coordinator coach at UGA. Squats down. And the Cowboys hired him as their head coach.

The absolute poster boy of failing upwards.
Gotten to know Jeff and Emily around the neighborhood. She was cute as a button and sweet as pie. Really devastating.
