What an idiot. Give up your tickets and never go to another sporting event ever.

if Ryan Day went 3-9 at Ohio State in Year 5, he’d be fired.

Not if he won the title the previous year....

Have some sense...

Man, if you can’t admit this was an abject failure by this coaching staff…and yes, it’s very embarrassing.

Then get your resume together and send it in demanding you be named head coach! I thought not. LSU has lofty exprctations as is. CJJ'S biggest sin was winning 2 in 3 years. Now Billy Bleachers who buys 1-2 tickets to a mid week game each year wants 4 in a row. Was this year disappointing for fans? Absolutely. It was even more disappointing to the players and coaches who have far more invested than any fan. If you can't deal with a little disappointment you better stop watching sports.
Nobody hates LSU better than LSU hates LSU. We have the worst fans ever. CJJ wins 2 titles in 3 years and a bunch of you who's biggest entry on your baseball resume is you coached little Bentley in rec ball at 9yo or for the really qualified you coached U12 travel ball for a year. Let the professionals handle things.

And I am sure you believe you are a better evaluator of talent than a coach with 2 titles in the last 3 years. I mean your travel ball club is what 3 maybe 4 games over .500
??
And he won 2 titles in 3 years. Not many coaches running around that can say that.
Since they have no frame of reference, they don't realize you don't fire a coach that has won 2 nattys in his first 4 seasons because he has a rough year.

I’m not going to continue to ignore that Jay thinks this team is deep when it’s not.

There are times when you have to do things as a coach that you may not want to. I am sure he would have preferred a couple of guys who weren't available before
Clauss. If you noticed they pinch hit for him leading off the 9th.

quote:

He has consistently put guys out there that are not ready because he thinks they can play in this environment when they can’t

quote:

Fact of the matter is that we don’t have defensive replacements on the infield this year. We missed on the portal, and you just have to live with that. Quit trying out true freshman who aren’t ready for the moment.

I hate losing as much as the next fan. I am sure the young men wearing purple and gold hate it worse. While that (bottom of the 8th) may have been the worst inning of defensive baseball I have seen from LSU in years, to say we shouldn’t play true freshmen in SEC play is beyond moronic. Serna and Braun wouldn't be playing this year, and Curiel last year. These guys have to gain experience somehow. Do you think you feel worse than Clauss, Dardar or Stanfield, who all had a hand in the 8th? Do you think you are a better coach or know this team better than Jay Johnson (you know the guy with 2 national championsh trophies in his office)? If so, may God have mercy on your soul, because no one else can help you...

Just a side note to how delusional the 10RC fanbase is(including the alleged sports journalists covering them), this is the last line in an article on the GoVols 247 site " Brown's ninth home run of the season capped a five-run inning for the Vols that proved to be the difference in the game." There were several remarks stating it is hard to replace the "Greatest Coach" in college baseball. Just wondering what they are putting in the water in Knoxville?

Section 220 here and I love my seats, bleachers or not. My butt is not so spoiled that I require a plastic back to my seat and I love the location. The only drawback, in my opinion, is it gets a little warm later in the season with no overhead cover. But i would still rather be at the Box than any other baseball stadium.

You've identified the issue. Now don't make the same mistake twice.

I saw where an Excuse Me Miss site flat out stated it was Kiffin and the football program being investigated by the CSC. I guess those buffoons will say anything to deflect attention away from the trouble they are in.

Wouldnt it be funny to see them hit the trifecta by belly flopping in baseball too?

And what exactly has ATM won??? Natty in football? That's not it. A CWS title?? Nope. A Basketball title??? Ahhhh, that would be a negative. :rotflmao:

There is not a more pathetic fanbase in college sports. Cheering about "we almost won something". Just sad......

To think, all Golding had to do was contact the kid's reps or his family like everyone else. But to paraphrase Austin Thomas, Golding is going to do what Golding wants. As a result Excuse Me Miss is now set to be the NCAA's whipping boy and it is all on them.
Last couple of years we had Jerad Jones at first. Just when the rest of the SEC thought they may be able to win a collision with an LSU first baseman, Yorke shows up and pisses in their Cheerios.
