Will be plenty of movement as a result of this, potentially among guys already signed or even enrolled. That’s to be expected.

The news literally just broke that Saban is gone. Is Byrne supposed to already announce a hire when they haven’t even officially announced Saban is retiring??

This is why I’m surprised they didn’t announce who the new hire is, to give some optimism to recruits. Also, ridiculous to decommit with also not knowing who the next coach is! Sheesh.

I’m over this kid and he’s not even in college yet. The GOAT college coach retires and he can’t wait 12 hours before he’s got to make it about him.

We’ve never seen a coach leave like this during the NIL and transfer portal era. I fear a coach retiring or heading to the NFL will mean huge setbacks for those programs now whereas you used to have guys come in and be able to keep things going fairly steadily.

Ryan Williams seems like all drama. Seemed like that before today and this just sort of solidifies that opinion for me.
