Secondly, many of the AU fans in this thread should have their posts immediately downvoted because they are too stupid to be preserved on the internet without being marked with the stain of disapproval.
Third, Bama was looking to hire Durkin as a position coach... knowing that he wasn't good enough to be a DC. We decided to completely pass on him instead. So enjoy having UA's back-up OLB coach as your DC :cheers:

This wouldn't surprise me since we are moving from a defensive minded HC, to an offensive minded HC. However, we don't have the luxury of incredible depth at CB right now... so Hampton may go where needed (as long as he can show out).
