Sheridan looked like Mike Leach in that pic, had to do a double take.

Sure does.
He also looks like Nick Sobotka from season 2 of the Wire, which is weird because I am doing a rewatch and I'm on season 2 at this very moment.

I know this may draw some jeers, but I feel for the guys that chose to stay committed to Bama and then a transfer comes in for most likely a coach and may jump them in line just because the transfer has more experience. I know, I know the best will play, but for discussion purposes how does a young talented player get experience when there is always a more experienced transfer coming in to “steal their spot/chance” in the order? Would be nice to see the loyal players that have put in the work since day 1 get a legit shot before a free agent.
Just my opinion, and I realize no one cares what I think.

Kalen DeBoer on @TheGAMEon1009 discusses what it takes to play QB in his system: "We'll adjust to whatever that quarterback skillset is. Certainly a guy who can deliver the ball to the skill around him. There's 11 players on the football field, both sides of the ball. You want to maximize each and every position. That can be done in different ways. What I would hope we can be is a team that can deliver the ball to all our skill positions and also I think you look at the different skillsets we have. Obviously everyone looks at Jalen and sees his ability to be mobile and run the football. That's an added weapon. That also makes everyone around him better. Extra eyes are in the backfield. There are a lot of different ways that can go. You need a guy who's poised, a guy that when the big moment comes is confident and his teammates feel that. I think there's things that you do as a quarterback beyond the skillset just in leading the football team. That just comes through repetition, confidence, great preparation, being that guy who brings it every single day and every single moment and the team feeding off of him."

SMU first-team all-conference offensive tackle Marcus Bryant has entered the transfer portal, @chris_hummer and I have learned for @247sports.
The 6-foot-8, 315-pound Bryant was a starter for SMU the last three years.

Sign him up!
How is he in the portal though? I thought it was closed except for schools that lose their HC.

He is a grad transfer I believe.

I get what you're saying but at the same time what if one of the incoming freshmen prove to be really good and take the spot of some that stuck with the Tide? It's the same but it's also different.
When Downs took a spot last year we didn't spend much time worrying about why players spot he took. Those that lost the spot just leave when they can.

If a player at the (fill in the blank) position is talented enough to start there won’t be a transfer coming in to take their spot.
Saban had the clout to pull that loyalty to player stuff with playing players, CKD has got to put the best product on the field and win now, and I’m sure he is aware.

Locked on Bama podcast (27 mins)
Alabama's Kalen DeBoer is opening up, 4th quarter program begins and a BIG hoops game tonight!
Alabama hasn't had coaches who are very active on social and radio media in the past- mainly because social media hasn't been around that long, but still... Well, Kalen DeBoer may change all of that! Also, the vaunted 4th quarter program is underway, baseball is running hot and a HUGE game against the Florida Gators in Tuscaloosa tonight! Roll Tide!

Cam Newton: Saban outta there, we gotta chance!
CJ Stroud: No, No, No, Bama own that, cmon.

1 thing is for sure-between that interview and the one with Fred Taylor-Stroud has a mighty high opinion of Bama.

Probably because he had a front row view for the 2020 title game.

I love Eli, but this feels like the right time to hang it up. New face of the program, new voice, and I don't think he stayed longer than his ability allowed him to. Though I think some would disagree.
