I wasn't too thrilled with hiring him anyway. Go get someone better.

Got the Co-DC title at Tennessee? I'm guessing he was not getting that here with Linguist and Hitschler already being co-DCs and Roach being assistant head coach.
Was just going to be a regular position coach title, which means less money.

He seemed like DeBoer’s “Bobby Williams”.
A veteran assistant that wasn’t particularly great at one thing. Just a Jack of all trades.

SOURCE: Alabama is hiring Christian Robinson as its LBs coach. Robinson is a name multiple SEC programs pursued recently. Alabama lands the former Baylor LBs coach who played LB at Georgia and has coached at Florida, Ole Miss and Auburn previously.

I’m good if no one from that Washington D winds up on this staff.

I don’t know much about him, was a stud in front of him that kept him from starting the majority of the season?

Michigan had a very veteran defense, so probably.

quote:Michigan was almost all seniors. Sabb started 5 games as a sophomore (or maybe RS freshman, not sure) on an almost entirely senior defense and got 6 tackles and 2 picks in the championship game. Was an IMG player in high school. He may not be downs (though downs was more a run stopper than a coverage guy) but he's proven he can start and play well at the highest level, so this is a big plus going into next year.

“But I think we do have a couple of spots, and you naturally just kind of keep your eyes and ears open for what those are going to be and we’ve gotta go through our spring ball and continue to evaluate our team. I think there’s some good young players that will step up and do a great job. But we do have a couple extra scholarships. Not a lot but we do have a couple extra scholarships still available that we could utilize when that time comes.”
