6
If we miss a bowl again he should be fired and we should make him sue us to get his buyout. Let him prove he earned it in Washington County court

Yes 6. Can't miss bowls in consecutive years

Keep his buyout from dropping.
He’d have to get 3 games underwater for that to happen. Start 1-4 or 2-5 and he’s fired the next day.

With CMFBP as the OC anything less than 8 is unacceptable IMHO

I'm concerned that having Pittman as the HC will be even too much for BMFP to overcome. Or, Yurachek will realize Pittman needs to retire and the best HC on staff is the OC

Yurachek will deem 5 wins a progress

Sadly, the standards at the football program are so low now that this will probably occur if not for the buyout language.
He's currently 20-18 since 2021 began. If he starts 2-5 or 3-6 though, he's gone immediedtly to offset the buyout down to 50%.
More the likely, Sam is fired during the the late October stretch of home LSU, at State, and home Ole Miss.
Bobby will take over and see what he can do done the stretch of Texas, LA Tech, and Mizzou.
Then we will likely miss out in Traylor and he'll to a bigger Texas school and light it up.

6 wins would work for me. At this point, I'd take a bowl game no matter how shitty the actual bowl game is. I just want to see some stability from a CEO type head coach in Pittman. With Petrino and Williams running the offense and defense without much interference from Pittman. Drama free and players just giving 110% every game.

We're gonna start the year favored in what 3 games?
We need to find 2-3 SEC wins and hope we're gundys annual WTF game, and that gets us bowl eligible saves pittmans job

From what I heard during the season was KJ was the team leader everyone was supposed to look towards for leadership. bullshite. There was zero leadership on the field from the players toward the end of the season and KJ rolling his eyes was an indication that he had given up.
I want to see the player leadership that was on the team in 2021. That’s why mizzou did good this year, with help of a weak schedule, was that the players were sick of losing and stepped up. Plus they had the patience to hold on to a weak coach until his team matured and now folks think that dork is all world great.
I’m willing to be patient if I see effort from the players and improvement on both sides of the ball.

Oklahoma State received a big boost for the 2024 season on Thursday when the NCAA granted quarterback Alan Bowman's waiver for a seventh season.
Bowman, who will turn 24 before next season, spent 2018-2020 at Texas Tech, 2021-22 at Michigan and this past season at Oklahoma State, where he threw for 3,460 yards with 15 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He was the starter in 11 games, passing the 300-yard mark in five of them and throwing for 402 yards and two touchdowns in the Cowboys' 31-23 TaxAct Texas Bowl win over Texas A&M.
Bowman's 2019 season at Texas Tech was the subject of the request, after he started three games that year before missing the remainder of the season with an injury.
"Alan met the criteria for an extension of his eligibility due to his season-ending injury in 2019 combined with redshirting at the University of Michigan," OSU's senior associate athletics director for compliance Ben Dyson said. "We appreciate the assistance of the Texas Tech training staff for providing us the documentation we needed to quickly process our waiver request."
Bowman threw for 605 yards for Texas Tech against Houston in 2018, making him the only active quarterback to throw for 600 yards in a game. He has started 27 career games in college, for 8,789 yards and 49 TDs to 32 INTs.
