The were a lot nicer to him than the reception Gene Chizik got at Auburn back in the day

Actually Chiz got a good reception with the band, etc. Jay Jacob’s got the “we want a winner, not a loser, Mr 5-19” on an earlier flight. Also Chiz did win a NC, but ego got in his way and 2012 happened.

Living in Starkville has to be tragic. Guess the money will make up for it

That scene always pops into my head whenever I see these coaches welcoming parties.

I wonder what the reaction would be if the new coach stepped off the plane, took a gander at the crowd, and immediately re-boarded the plane which then turned around and took off.

Not much different than what Rich Rod did to Bama. Of course, Bama fell arse-backwards into replacing him with the best coach in history, so I guess Rich Rod really trolled the rest of the SEC.

Lebby is moving from Norman, not Palm Beach.

On behalf of Ross Bjork, we Aggies want to thank Mississippi State for grabbing all the headlines and providing us cover during recent coaching hires.

btw When will the lockdown for females begin in Starkville?

While Norman kinda sucks, you do realize it's essentially a suburb of OKC. And an easy 3 hour trip to Dallas. I mean what the hell is around Starkville?

That depends on the definition of "problem". It certainly will come up repeatedly.

What do you think these coaches do for fun? They work 14 hour plus days and don’t give a shite where they live for the most part.

You do realize there are these things called airplanes? Leach used to fly to his place in Key West straight from Golden Triangle airport in about 4 hours.

Different sport, but isn't that basically what happened with Dana Altman and Arkansas?

I’ll say another SEC team is said to be poached if the DC isn’t retained.

State fans used the same argument when Lebby was at Ole Miss.

The whole "*insert college town here* is in the middle of nowhere!" doesn't work for college football at a P5 school. Starkville is less than 3 hours from Dallas by private jet.

He is married to Briles daughter and has been carrying Briles water for years, to the ire of Brent Venables staff and the OU administration. He vocally defends the old Rape-enabler in press conferences. It will likely be a problem for MSU at some point.

So will he use the old Baylor recruiting line of "we have a lot of pretty white girls here" Does MSU have a lot of pretty white girls on campus?

Lebby's offense isn't Air Raid......at all.

I didn’t realize how much he was involved in the Briles scandal

You mean the one he was cleared of? A fact that the pearl clutchers of the world can't seem to grasp.
