Been thinking of getting into some Ego and would start with the chainsaw. Doesn’t look like it’s applicable for this but will keep an eye out. Ironically cheaper than Atlas from HF.

To save face, tell them your dummy brother in law added the extra refrigerant

Solid move. Didn’t seem like any extra went in, but people fathered children thinking the same thing.

No error codes but I haven’t tried a reset. Will do. The non-cooling head will switch modes via the remote and blow air. Haven’t checked heat, but makes me wonder if it’s some sort of thermostat issues. Like it doesn’t know to cool.

Thank you sir. Will do. Why would one head cool and not the other if it’s a closed system?

Durastar is just Ferguson’s house brand. Made by Daikin which are very good. Should be good there and would be under warranty if it’s something other than refrigerant. Hate to spend the money to call someone out but need to watch movies in comfort.

Mini-Split AC Help Needed

I have a dual zone minisplit. One indoor unit is in the garage, the other in the bonus room above the garage.

The garage is cooling fine, blows about 62° at the vent. The bonus room doesn’t appear to be cooling at all. Blows room temp, which is way too hot right now.

I cleaned the filters and tried adding some Freon (R410a) with one of the DIY can kits. I had both indoor units on, set to cool, and lowest temp. System didn’t seem to take any Freon. Both of the small liquid lines iced up.

Can I assume it has plenty of refrigerant since the garage unit is cooling? Or does a pro need to properly draw it down and recharge?

Anything else I can try??

Unit is a Durastar. Made by Diken I think.

Thanks yall.

If you want to take a look at another reel I really like my Daiwa Coastal 80 and 150

Good rec. Had Curado’s since the late 90’s but heard good things about the Coastal. Variety is the spice of life…

What’s the specs on the avid?

Want to stick with a 7’ on the boat.
Will probably go with the medium light. It shows a lure weight of 1/8 to 1/4, and I’m sure I could cast 1/2 ounce if I needed to.

Cronarch MGL or Tranx 150 for Inshore?

Looking at a new reel. Would be paired with a St Croix Avid.

Any thoughts between these? Cronarch MGL seems long in the tooth but well regarded. No experience with a Tranx.
I mainly through soft plastics.

I like my Curado K and would keep it rigged as a back up. Never had an issue in the salt with it.

Ever wish you had the instinct with auto deploy? I think it’s about an extra thousand dollars.
Amen and he better learn to run the ball or stuck in the mud we will be.

Anyone have experience with this trolling motor? My old Xi5 feels like it’s about to bite it, so I think I’ll be in the market soon.

I could save a few bucks by going without the auto deploy. Seems very convenient but not sure if it’s worth it.

Going on a 22’ deep v CC

Thanks!
May be a good QB if they can block and actually run the ball a little
Damn. Some highly unlucky tourists (and locals) down there.

Pruitt

Morning. I saw an article saying that Pruitt will be an analyst at Alabama after the recent court ruling.

Don’t recall seeing anything here. Can someone confirm/deny?

This.
aTm showing an average NIL of $85k. That’s nuts.
Better be able to block or it won’t matter
