I understand that Nix is having a great year…

We saw Nix for 2 years in the SEC, and he was really not very good.

Serious question: can we say that he has gotten that much better, or has he just played against worse defenses and athletes?

Attention everyone:

Coonass is developing a theory wherein Heisman recipients are judged on their career, not each individual season.

Will his hypothesis become a regulation that guides the new Heisman selection process or will the referees of life screw over lsu again and not be fair?

The SEC headquarters will make a ruling after consulting with the REC.

Haven’t seen Nix play one snap this season so who knows. However, just look at Joe Burrow 2018 vs. Joe Burrow 2019. So it’s very possible.

LSU fans saying Nix wasnt very good is hilarious.

He was the only reason why Auburn won in BR in 2021.
He lit LSU up like a Christmas Tree in 2020.

He single-handedly beat LSU in Baton Rouge with a dreadful cast of characters. He just needed a decent roster and a coach that wasn’t a dolt. He has that now and the results speak for themselves.

Do you think this is Daniels' first year? Does this not cut both ways.

Players grow and get better. Daniels played 3 years in the PAC12 and was really not very good

Both are more than deserving. Hats off to both guys for continuing to improve and get to this level. No one could have guessed they would be two of the last three standing for the Heisman before the 2022 season began.

No quarterback could be successful with the lines and receiving corps Auburn has had the last 3-4 years.

What’s Daniels excuse for being mid to poor at ASU? Sometimes guys get better.

When we beat LSU, I was very impressed with Daniels. He was the reason LSU even stayed in the game. For my money, I think Daniels should be the winner, because without him, LSU would have lost all but about 2 or 3 games this year.

Regardless, all 3 top Heisman QBs are having great years. But the best thing Nix did was tell AU to piss off.

Both Nix and Daniels are much better today than they were two years ago. This is college football. They are all young

How did he look against Georgia last year?

He was statistically worse than his last season at Auburn...

Here are 7 of the 11 defenses Bo Nix has played against this year ranked by YPG.

Portland State (FCS)
90 WSU
100 washington
116 cal
123 usc
127 stanford
128 colorado

he has basically played against temas with worse defenses than LSU all year long.

It’s ALL about the difference in defenses. The last time he played a SEC defense he looked like he always looked against SEC defenses. He may get a chance to have one good game against a SEC defense yet. Most likely he’ll look like shite again
