The paradox of this situation, with
Jayden Daniel's begging and pleading like a child with Chip, an immature and insecure coach, to stay in the game against Georgia State is that it has ruined Daniel's chance at a Heisman.
He actually had a shot at it before Kelly allowed Daniels to make a fool of himself and have the whole of college football looking down on him in shame.
You don't do that to a nobody team; you don't ridicule them and treat them with haughty contempt.
It was a pitiful and pathetic spectacle seeing a potential Heisman winner padding stats against a high school team that was being abused and tortured by the big boys.
All the voters that were going to choose Daniels will surely now pick that player that all the auburn fans spit on all the time.
Way to go, Chip. Way to go, Daniels. A proud warrior and a decent man with morals and values refused to play after halftime, in Bo Nix, and showed what having the Heisman spirit was all about. That will go a long way with the individuals that award the Heisman because they, better than anyone, understand the game.

Coonass is developing a theory wherein Heisman recipients are judged on their career, not each individual season.
Will his hypothesis become a regulation that guides the new Heisman selection process or will the referees of life screw over lsu again and not be fair?
The SEC headquarters will make a ruling after consulting with the REC.

I wouldn't imagine any reputable team would wish to have a recruit that committed to auburn.
