It was never the marquee matchup of the day, but there was still some great games to get the Saturday started with Dave, Dave & Dave calling the game.
ETA: corrected names
It was a simpler, more civilized time.

Wasn’t the Bluegrass Miracle a Jefferson Pilot game?

2006 UGA AU was a classic

The Save the Daves campaign didn’t work…

I watched pigs fly on JP in 1993.

It was Dave, Dave, and Dave.
That being said, Dave Neal is a really underrated player by play guy. I still enjoy listening to him call SEC games.

It was great. I probably watched that game more consistently than the marquee games when I was in college.

I think we all miss the nostalgia of football back then.

I can still picture coaches like Pat Dye and Gene Stallings finishing up the commercial with:
If it ain’t got the yella tag on it, believe me, you don’t want it

My favorite part of this post is that both games you found feature the Rebs. JP and the Daves was like hanging out with old friends every saturday because we had that slot so often.

I loved the old JP games. Even if you were in the conference cellar, JP gave a lot of teams great exposure.
After Friday night games and film early on Saturday mornings, everybody would haul butt to get to their TVs for the JP game.

I hated those games and I still hate the 11am games.

I think Jevan Snead and Houston Nutt upsetting Tebow and the Gators was Lincoln Financial/Jefferson Pilot in 2008
The screenshot in the OP I'm not sure if it was that particular game though I could be mistaken - I think Jefferson Pilot transitioned to Lincoln Financial right around that time.
ACC Games were sponsored by RAYCOM right?
