It's a bit embarrassing when your rent-a-players don't know your fight song

Hell, even our head coach doesn't know the fight song. Watching after the wins, the locker room celebration and the players singing the AU fight song...
They all just stand around and clap with a camera in their face with no words coming out... really cementing the fact they don't know a word of the song. Luckily some of the real AU players sing it..
Learn the song. It's a college tradition at every university.

And they don’t care to learn it. This isn’t 1985 anymore. All Bama and auburn players were from Alabama, Mississippi players were from ms, Louisiana players were from there. They were fans before they were players at said school.

At Auburn, it’s all about famlee and being “Auburn Men.” Players go to Auburn because they “love Auburn University”, The Creed and to be part of something special. These are all more important than winning championships. This is a fine example. War Damn.

I feel attacked here out of state athlete who can't score 100% on yea alabama. I feel no shame nor remorse. Being a non revenue sport it was painfully obvious not every bama man was behind us, Georgia tech has been out of our conference for almost 6 decades, and it's been over 75 years since we've played in a fricking rose bowl

You'd have to admit, that part of the problem is that the song is really choppy.
Your players don't feel manly blurting out short disorganized words posing as a song.

Kinda hard to blame the players for not knowing the words to a song that they have heard under 10 times in their entire lives....
