What do yall think? If he does retire I predict he comes back like a horror movie character coming back to life a year after. He will not be in the SEC, but will be somewhere with a clear path to the playoff every year.

The rumor was this is his last year and then off to ESPN. I don't remember where I saw it on X but I'll believe it when I see it.

i don't know when he'll retire but he won't come back and coach. he's 71, needs to go enjoy the rest of his years with his wife and go experience the world with basically unlimited funds

I feel like I remember him being not that bad on the championship broadcasts. Maybe I'm just misremembering that though.

Well, NIL & the Portal have given him a setback, because he can't hoard all the talent like before. The beast in the East (Georgia) looms high & if he loses to LSU & Tenn again, then he REALLY has to worry about the future...

The Playoff will go to 12 teams next year. He will not retire before that.
