I’m not directing this at anyone in this thread, but I see a ton of complaining online and I feel like there’s a lot of people don’t know what they’re actually watching. The ending of the show was written before they even started making the show. It was always meant to be five seasons. This is a mystery box show, and in those types of shows typically the answers you do get just lead to more questions, and the largest overarching questions will be answered later on. If you aren’t ok with that, this type of show probably isn’t for you.
I was also having the discussion of questions we need answered and ones we don’t. We won’t get an answer to every single question the show has created, and we don’t need it. For example, a few questions I don’t really need answered are about Tillie, the bag of teeth, the cicadas, I don’t care about how electricity works, or how they get food, etc etc. I would like to know about Martin, Julie’s story walking, the spider in season one, etc etc.

I really don’t agree with this. Set up season? Maybe, but a lot happened. There were some filler episodes, but the entire season wasn’t filler.

I can see it both ways. I can easily see a scenario where he overvalued Trey and Herb pretty heavily. Or maybe there wasn’t any good offers on the table and he didn’t force it. Personally, I think the first is more likely. It would have been nice to add another guy to add to Fears, Queen, and Missi. But there’s also the age old saying that these picks were more valuable than the players that were actually selected with them.

Maybe Herb but you keep Trey > 3 late 1sts.
See my note above. There is likely enough interest in Trey that there is an ideal offer on the table. A lottery pick in this class is considerably more valuable than one in next years draft. We already have confirmation that something like #8 is on the table, but are the two sides realistic in what they're asking for aside from that, specifically the Pelicans side being they hold the coveted trade piece.

If they go into a rebuild, you're not winning many games anyways. As long as Fears and Queen is getting developed, I'll sit and wait for an ideal package.
That is my point. There are enough suiters interested that if you can't come sort of agreement that's ideal for both sides, you're likely asking for too much, specifically on Trey.

They should be desperate. 47-117 the last two seasons, sweeping changes need to be made. I'm not advocating to move them just to move them, but the draft isn't waiting for you. You have sought after players on your roster, a reset needs to happen, if you can't come to some sort of agreement today then you're not being realistic with what you're asking, and we will be stuck in this cycle.
Watch nothing happen after all this
