So you think they had the foresight to write in a complicated story arc 14-15 years ago all in the name of serving the future “wokeness?” You’re a moron if you think that. They were following an arc of a very popular character that had been around for more than a decade, and unfortunately, executed some parts of it poorly

I mean. . .He's not wrong.

You can get annoyed that he's right, but it doesn't make him less right.

People read into a message that's not there. We can have a lot of discussion on where S3 went wrong, and if you disagree with the show putting more of a focus on Bo-Katan and kind of putting Mando in the back seat because of it that's a discussion I would probably agree with you with.

But when you look at what S3 was about, the story of the different factions of Mandalorians trying to come together and reunite so they can take back Mandalore from the leftover remnants of the Empire, and Bo-Katan (whose story Star Wars and Filoni have explored for nearly 11 years when S3 released mind you) who the fall of Mandalore is crucial to because it represents legitimately everything about her character, it makes complete logical sense to put her at the forefront of that.

S3 was what it was because while I think they had a fine plan for the season initially, they ultimately wrote a disjointed, filler heavy season that lacked the character and the personal character-driven story that people were invested in. It had nothing to do with wokeness.
I'm not sure if this would be an unpopular opinion but I don't want them chasing a contender next year. I want another offseason of smart cost effective moves, and then maybe after next season you go chasing bigger better things.

Not even a little. I like the Mandalorian first two seasons, then he got replaced in his own show in season three for the woke message stuff. Done with it...

I don't necessarily think it's going to be anything ground breaking but yes I am excited to see it. I love (almost) anything Star Wars

The commercial itself is fine. I would even say it's pretty whitty and COULD be a good ad for them. The issue is it's not what they needed, they needed something that could really grab people (especially those who are on the edge regarding seeing the movie, and those that aren't even aware there is a Star Wars movie coming out) and peak their interest in the movie. We've already seen the leaked trailer from Celebration that shows Mando dropping into the AT-AT and taking out the hallway of troopers, if they did some 30 second teaser (accompanied by a longer trailer online) around that hallway scene and then did that ad during a later commercial I think that would have hit it out of the park.
I’ve made a ton of cool shite with my printer, well stuff I think is cool

I think I gave up even before they hired Dumars, that just confirmed suspicions for me

I watched up to the Doorman episode. I like it so far. Going to watch some more in bed tonight

That’s where I am as well. I heard Ep 5 is probably the best of the season so I want to knock that one out tomorrow
I’ve been wanting to pick a skill player in the first round but if Bain is available at 8 I’m running over a child to get to the podium

In the event we lose to State tomorrow, would that trigger a mid season move?

I don’t think they would make that move yet, but there are multiple media members all saying a move in season is completely possible. Makes me think they really moved quickly on this thing, which in turn makes me feel like they’re ready to make a major investment in basketball.

I don’t mind the name Pelicans. Everything else sucks.

We may have the worst court design in the entire NBA
DE: Ross
DT: McKinley

DE: Prince
LB: Dottery

CB: Woodland
CB: D. Pickett
STAR: Spears
S: Benefield

More than, from what I’ve been told. Essentially they don’t get it because they don’t even somewhat need it
I like Kush but if you were dumb enough to fill these peoples pockets even more that is on you

Depends what type of back it is. If you project Love to be the elite of the elite, you consider it.
