Landen Clark completed 55% of his passes and had a 2.9 INT% at Elon, in the Coastal Athletic Association. Both of those numbers are worse than Leavitt's career numbers.

I'm not trying to be an arse but anyone who legitimately thinks Clark would give this team a better chance to win is a moron.

Watching Leavitt take his eyes off downfield when he runs on Saturdays and Shough keeping his eyes downfield on Sundays is such a stark difference

Amongst LSU fans visiting Oxford is already known as one of the least hospitable places you could visit. Dial up the emotions about 50 times in this game, and you have the makings of trouble.

I'm not saying 100% of LSU fans will come back with bad stories, but many will.

I don’t want to discredit your points about the aliens and manhunter, because you aren’t wrong, but the cloud action took me out more than anything. Kind of felt like Barry Allen was moving Hal inside that cloud.

Also interesting that this felt like a season finale. So I’m wondering where we go from here. I have a few ideas, based off of some things I’ve read and trailer and promo stuff, so read below if you dare:

SPOILERS

Seems like next episode we are back in 2026 trying to solve the Hal murder mystery. Noah is my #1 prime suspect at this point.

Episode 7 is reportedly a Hal flashback episode. They wanted to put it earlier in the season but didn’t want two flashback episodes so close together.

The finale, I have no clue. Looks like present day John and the backup version of Hal? But no idea where they are, why they are there, etc.

If that doesn’t tell you the importance of preseason, I don’t know what does.

I do think there may be a point where guys like Drew, Josh Allen, Mahomes, etc etc don’t need preseason anymore, but a guy like Shough absolutely does

I can’t say that definitively, but I do feel like the first half struggles were in relation to not playing in preseason. A lot of that seemed like timing like rust issues. Drops, QB and skill position guys not on the same page, etc

I said it in another post but coming into today Shough had attempted just over 300 passes in the NFL. Thinking he didn’t need preseason snaps was naive

Shough has thrown barely over 300. They shouldn’t be treated the same.

Shough should have seen a lot of snaps in the preseason

I'm really looking forward to getting the entire family together and watching this on Sunday nights. Love when HBO has a show my wife and I can watch together on Sunday nights, typically HBO, but being able to add the kids makes this even better. It looks really good.
