I understand why Bama fans think they'll win it all every year. But by any logical thinking, this wasn't that year.

1. Replacing the top two players in the NFL draft who never won the national championship.
2. Replacing both coordinators. Even if it was an improvement, that's generally an adjustment that takes a year.
3. Changing the offensive identity and style of play. Just not a light switch type of thing you can easily turn on.

I wouldn't put Nick out to pasture just yet. Lonergan may be the guy and next year should be a year to think big.

Need to be careful not to end up like Nebraskas fanbase post Osbourne

They fired Solich who went 9-4, 12-1, 10-2, 11-2,7-7, and 9-3. He had one subpar season

Then fired Pelini who never won less than 9 games.

You see where that got them since

This NIL shite and the transfer portal are really taking their toll on Nick. Their aren’t going to be dynasties any more like have seen before

What the frick does your post have to do with what the OP posted? Calm down and get a clue.

It has to do with the depressing "this is it guys! It's over!" tone.

As if Bama is going anywhere anytime soon.

I'll repeat, welcome back to the rest of college football. The 15-year run of juggernaut dominance is OVER.

You're still the best program in college football history and top recruits are still flooding your roster.

I'm trying to figure out where Bama is supposed to be upset. College football is changing for everyone and I think it'll be good for everyone.

I remember the pre-Saban Bama teams of the late 90s/early 00s. Gave Arkansas some really good games.

All the guy said, and what most BAMA fans say, is the run is coming to end, and we're all appreciative of it. We know it's an anomaly. We know it will almost certainly never be repeated. We love our coach and we hope he makes a strong exit. That's about it. I haven't seen this spoiled behavior you're talking about. The fans on this site who are behaving like spoiled brats are trolls and not real BAMA fans.

Been longer than that.

It sucks to go 5-5 while claiming it was "easy to win in 2020", doesn't it?

The tide is changing and schools like Texas, USC, TAM, FSU, and others are competitive now due to NIL.. Alabama is no longer the school recruiting 5 stars by the dozen.

Saban doesn’t even get upset on sidelines anymore. He’s already gone.

A transition has happened to where Bama will always be good but they are no longer great and can be beat against good teams on any given Saturday like 98% of college teams. Saban still may win another championship before he hangs it up, but the time where Bama is the top dog year in and year out is over.

Still the greatest run of all time. Week in and week out Bama was a lock to dominate. It was an unprecedented thing to watch.

Coach Saban needs an OC who can take advantage of his talented dual-threat QB.
On defense, they need to find a way to get pressure on the opposing QBs.
