I graduated from Alabama in 1992... great year, Gene Stallings brought home a national championship. The future seemed bright. The next 15 years were an exercise in futility, but every year I went to the games, and hoped for the best...
Nick Saban's arrival changed everything and Alabama had an unparalleled run. The greatest time in history to be in Alabama fan. Looks like that run may be coming to an end, I will be there either way, as will all the Alabama fans I know....What a ride though... and thank you Coach Saban

Let’s play the season out before we send Saban to the lake prematurely.

Ehh, any real Bama fan that’s watched Saban the whole time can see the difference in a good team and a national title team.

We haven’t had a national title team in 3 years and it’s not hard to see why.

This must be the bargaining stage.

I'll allow it.

Roll Tide, though. We will never quit bleeding crimson!

We led in the fourth quarter of the national title game two years ago. losing sucks but it’s not like Alabama has been shite the last two years. The bar is high, but it’s game two.

We really have become a spoiled-as-hell fan base. I remember some epic melts from the DuBose and Shula years vividly. Coach Saban will hang up the whistle when he’s damned good and ready. He’s still the GOAT and we can still win a lot of games this year.

Wait till reality hits, and you realize it will be 3 x 30 years before you sniff another natty.

You guys are such pathetic losers about this. So you're not a damned juggernaut anymore, big deal. Welcome to the club, pal. In what world did you think that run would last forever? What Bama was doing was an anomaly, not a norm.

Spoiled arse brats.

Look at your recruiting...you're still kicking everyone's arse. It's better for college football when everyone can beat each other.

It’s easy to see that Saban has lost his enthusiasm. He seems bored and frustrated on the sidelines. Just walks back and forth with his hands tucked under his arm pits. Doesn’t interact with, talk to or coach his players. Looks totally miserable

Their recruiting is more than likely gonna drop off. Recruits want to play for winners and Bama really doesn’t qualify anymore.

What you aren’t fully appreciating is that Saban could be a shadow of his former self and he’d still likely be the best coach Alabama could reasonably expect to run its program.

There’s no switch to be flipped that will bring back peak Bama football. Dynasties don’t last forever.
