Whole lot of “ifs” and “almost” in that comment. In reality JD5 is the better QB. One led his team to the SEC championship. The other did not.

KJ is a one trick pony. He isn't great unless he has an absolute stud to throw jump balls too in the passing game.

Or the other team can't stop the run to save their lives. (ex. OM 2022).

I like Jefferson. I would probably have them 1/2 in my sec rankings. That being said, I would take Daniels over Jefferson. Daniels showed up huge against Bama last year. Jefferson doesn't have a signature win like that.

To me he’s in that Dak Prescott category which is good but not great.

Dak was a great QB. KJ is closer to Chris Relf than Dak

the numbers he puts up in a Briles offense are pretty weak.

he’s fine. He’s probably about as fine as he will ever be.

Daniels could make a step to great, and as an LSU fan I certainly hope he will.

But he's at Arkansas so he won't get as much praise as Daniels playing at a superior program.

KJ > Daniels

Brady Cook > KJ

Brady Cook for Heisman

They got this 6’3” WR who I think ran a 10.3 100M in HS. I forgot his name but was jealous.

You’re probably thinking of Samuel Mbake, Sam was high on him and felt he’d be a difference maker. Of course he has hurt his knee in a scrimmage and is out for this season. We aren’t allowed to have nice things.

Daniels could only score one TD against our injury depleted defense last year.

KJ could only manage two touchdowns vs Liberty.

And threw two interceptions.

And lost the game.

That the guy that tried to jump over a pile from the 4 yard line and fumbled the game away to Aggie last year?
Y'all still got that guy that only threw for 80 yards against the 130th ranked pass defense in the nation last year?

Jefferson carrying his team to the sec championship game was epic
The funny thing about this post is that if LSU had actually had to play KJ last year, Daniels wouldn't have been in the SEC Championship game either.

Is he better than Harold Perkins though?

KJ hurt his throwing arm early in the year.

I'm impressed he threw for 50. I couldn't get out of bed last time I had the flu.

Who won that game anyway?

At least our fanbase doesn’t project heismsn every year for our QBs like OM only for them to lose to Arkansas
