It means you are putting in a lot of money in sports that lose money. I hope your success continues in everything other than football.

Our baseball team actually generates money. We are one of the only ones in the country that does.

You are bottom half of the league in football wins since SEC expansion.
You have zero basketball national championships.
You didn’t place top five in SEC schools represented in the Olympics.
So you’re bragging about women’s basketball and (hahahhahha) college baseball? Lol, OK.
Don’t forget, you’re also towards the bottom of the league in academics and endowment.
You are elite in accordance with no definition but your own.

You don’t see many Florida fans bragging about accomplishments in athletics or academics.
But I feel they hold their own against most!! They exceed all but a few if I remember right.

Read my other comment. Stephen never accepted my bet. A bet isn’t official unless both parties accept it. So by default it never happened.

I have been a fan of LSU baseball since I was a kid, so you know who I'm pulling for to win the world series. Would've loved to play for Coach Bertman. I have respect for the whole athletic department.

Holding their own and winning are 2 different things. That's like saying "we gave you guys a good game even though we lost lol".

Being a member for 10 years you should know better. Of all schools to call out you pick UF. The school that for the most part is an extremely competitive program. Probably more championships than any other sec school. Add in academics and you’re looking up at a number of schools.
Slow your roll and stay in your lane.

This must be a new development. Just a few years back I remember discussions that you could not support your athletic programs.
LSU and Nebraska are the only two athletic departments in the nation that receive no state subsidies. LSU took a hit during COVID but returned to making multi-million dollar profits after the COVID year.

They are good at 2/3 main sports.
Tennessee tcu and bama are good at 3/3. Texas too
