What is your perception? Envy, tiredness, respect?

LSU really does own college sports as a whole

It's great!

Its almost July and we still get to watch our school compete.

Aggy is normally done in November and Alabama is a distant dream in anything these days.

Lmao LSU is just getting started . We won 50 national titles despite gross incompetency and mismanagement. The school has money and resources but always lacked leadership.

LSU has arrived. We’ve always been a Ferrari driven but a drunk fifth grader but those days are over

Yeah well said squidbilly. Youll never live to see Auburn pass LSU in national titles in even two of our lifetimes. Odds are you could stay on planet earth for 100 more years and you’ll die knowing auburn could never compete as an athletic department with Florida or LSU. Like, never.

Well, from a UGA fan who would rather watch an MIT math professor's webinar on The Joys of Differential Calculus than any other sport besides football?...and since UGA is not 'an elite team', we are 'THE elite team' in college football....eh, it sorta just makes me yawn thinking about it.

LSU is by far the most elite athletic program in the SEC

It’s a roller coaster of emotions.

First this…

Then this…

And ends this way…

This must be a new development. Just a few years back I remember discussions that you could not support your athletic programs.

depends. What is your definition of elite? Seems everybody has a different definition, so I want yours.

What's it like knowing that you have a losing record of 1-2 to Alabama in football and a 2-7 record to them in Basketball this decade ?

Well now I see why everyone hates us. The arse-end of our fanbase on here talk mad shite after winning a big game, but I get the feeling the you are the same ones calling for the heads of our coaches anytime things don’t go our way. Also disappear after losses having talked mad shite beforehand.

I could care less. It’s a fricking game, that’s all it is. I’m not going to rip my hair out if A&M got beat in a major bowl game or March Madness game. LSU fans lose their shite if their team loses and I’ve never understood that. But at the end of the day, watching sports is the only fricking thing there is to do in Louisiana, and it’s all they have. In a way I feel sorry for a lot of them.
