Unfortunately, they have to share that title with Tennessee.

Georgia won 2 college football titles in a row 2021-2022.
Unfortunately, it took major injuries to the opponents’ key players to attain them.

They finished the season ranked seventh in both the AP Poll and Coaches' Poll.

Like when Texas QB Colt McCoy went out playing very well in the MNC game against Alabama?
Or like when UGA players D'andre Swift, Sony Michel and top 50/50 ball WR Javon Wims went out in the 2017 NC game against Alabama?

He went out playing well against Alabama? Really? What were his stats?

Alabama finished #20 in the AP poll in 1941, they claim a national championship

Didn't they win it in the UCF poll?

OK, he was playing decent. But you know who went out playing VERY WELL against Alabama? UGA OLB D'Andre Walker in the 2018 SECCG. Walker had a few sacks and more QB pressures with Bama's OL not slowing him down at all. He hurt Tua and very well may have gotten to Hurts if not for leaving the game with an injury. UGA's pass rush was never as effective with DW#15 out of the game. Bama's OT's all of a sudden looked adequate.

Exactly. You can’t expect a team that recruits as poorly as bama does to have depth. It’s not like they’ve had multiple number 1 classes.

Despite finishing undefeated, the Green Wave were not considered for a BCS game, let alone a berth in that year's national title game, because it was felt their strength of schedule was too weak to justify a berth in a higher-tier bowl.
They did not play a single ranked team all season, and the only AQ conference member on their schedule was a Rutgers team that finished tied for sixth in the Big East.
On a trivia note, this was Tommy Bowden's last year at Tulane before he bolted for Clemson, where he compiled a 72–45 record through 2008, and got replaced mid-season by Dabo.
ETA: Just saw Leto's comment above

Didn't their 2020 class feature like Five or Four WR's that were 4 and 5 stars?

Both hall and brooks were more highly rated than Mitchell and bowers coming out of high school.

Are the majority of ranters really saying this?

They shouldn’t rely on players lacking the most important ability.

The ones that don't understand their team may have benefited from opposing team's injuries in the past, yes.
Like injuries to future NFL players like COLT and SONY to name a couple. Or other future NFL players like Wims and Swift or an all SEC like D'andre Walker.

Tulane 1998 and Georgia 2022 also played very similar schedules in terms of strength.

I’ve noticed a trend amongst AU and UF fans admitting their programs pose no challenge to UGA.
