Glaring obvious mistakes are TENN Vs. SCAR and KY Vs. Georgia. Not sure why they chose what they chose. That needs to be swapped.
Also, who is LSU going to play on the last weekend? I definitely figured it would be Arkansas. This is all strange.
I think Texas A&M and LSU stays on that weekend. Aggie probably told the SEC, this is conjecture, that they have established themselves in the SEC without Texas. So while they will play Texas again, the game will be played say 1st week in November maybe or last in October (OU and Texas play early in October)
If my hunch is correct, then you have on Thanksgiving weekend:
Texas and Arkansas
LSU playing Aggie
OU playing MIZZOU

Who are "league insiders" Dellenger knows?
Dellenger started out here in Baton Rouge with the Morning Advocate and quickly was someone who got sources not only at LSU, but also around the league. He was a go to guy on all the local media shows for all things SEC around the league while he was an LSU beat reporter
He is well connected with most AD's from what I have picked up, and many coaches. IF you look when he wrote the article, he was in Tuscaloosa last week meeting with Saban and was at the Basketball game that night, as I think some media outlets hinted at, he was not in Tuscaloosa to just check out the Basketball, even though hoops has been very elite this year for Alabama.

I know it’s not finalized yet, but SC without UGA on the schedule is like peanut butter without jelly. It doesn’t make sense.
It does take away a near-certain loss most years…

Swap KY-GA and SC-TN with KY-TN and SC-GA
Swap Miz-Vandy and KY-SC with Miz-KY and SC-Vandy
Swap OU-FL and LSU-Bama with LSU-FL and OU-BAMA
—Then maybe swap OU-Bama and MSU- A&M with OU-TAM and BAMA/MSU
< TV reasons probably keeps LSU/BaMa, but OU/Bama seems like a decent alternative.>
A&M: LSU, MSU/OU, Texas
Alabama:Auburn, OU/MSU, Tenn
Arkansas: Missouri, Ole Miss, Texas
Auburn: Alabama, Georgia, Vandy
Carolina: Georgia, Florida, Vandy
Florida: Georgia, LSU, Carolina
Georgia: Auburn, Carolina, Florida
Kentucky: Miss State, Missouri, Tenn
LSU: A&M, Florida, Ole Miss
Miss State: A&M/BAMA, UK, Ole Miss
Missouri: Arkansas, Kentucky, OU
Oklahoma: BAMA/A&M, Missouri, Texas
Ole Miss: Arkansas, LSU, Miss State
Tennessee: Alabama, Kentucky, Vandy
Texas: A&M, Arkansas, Oklahoma
Vandy: Auburn, Carolina, Tenn

Why is this still on going?! If it is complicated, then discarded the set-up format for each team.

Any team getting Vandy as a permanent opponent automatically has an advantage. Any team who considers themselves in the upper half of the league should not get Vandy.

How does mizzou get Vandy? Sorry we aren’t giving up our historic rivalry with them!
One of the reasons is that Mizzou fans don’t travel as good as most SEC teams, so they might be giving us closer away games.
Fayetteville-4 hours 46 minutes
Nashville-6 hours 6 minutes
Lexington-6 hours 38 minutes
Norman-6 hours 46 minutes
Oxford-6 hours 47 minutes
There are other options that cost less that keep a lot fans from traveling. Chiefs, Cardinals, Blues, And Royals games. There are some DII powerhouses that have really good home game atmosphere’a and are really fun to go to.
Chiefs home games cost about the same or a little more, but closer to home and no hotel. Great atmosphere with average attendance over 73,000.
Cardinals games are cheaper. Great atmosphere with a long tradition that started in 1892. They have an average attendance over 40,000 for 81 home games since 2005(not including COVID year). From 1985 to 2004 averaged over 30,000 a game.
Went to a Royals Cardinals game in KC a few years ago and it cost less than $80 for 4 tickets and parking.
It’s hard for a lot us to go to away games. I have 3 youth practice’s in the week, High School game on Friday, and youth games on Saturday.
We will get more fans at 1 of those 5 schools compared to a 14 hour drive to UF or a 12 hour drive to SC, A&M, and Texas.

I mean UF fans don't travel well either and they're giving us the furthest away that we've played twice as an annual game.

We have Bama and Georgia every year, that's already two stacked opponents we have on our slate
Adding Vandy is cooling our schedule down a little bit

If you think the SEC gives a frog fart about anything that Texas A&M wants, I have a bridge in College Station to sell you.

Mizzou barely gets fans at home games. They do not have the passion of a typical SEC team.

If my hunch is correct, then you have on Thanksgiving weekend:
Thanksgiving weekend is now SEC Championship weekend with the expanded playoffs. Those have to start earlier because if they push later they'll interfere with the NFL. College doesn't want that and the TV networks won't be onboard either.
I think the most likely scenario is A&M-tu the weekend before thanksgiving if they can make it work. The Lsu-A&M game will likely be the one moving.

Tennessee Kentucky and Ole Miss are the only teams with legitimate history with Vandy. Everyone else is trying to schedule a cupcake. We're .500 v Vandy. It's a rivalry and they absolutely belong on Kentucky's schedule.

The Bama MSU games hold a lot of historical relevance so I don't know what you are talking about

True. One positive is we are leading SEC in attendance growth. Last year we had a 17% increase in attendance to a average of 55,000 a game.
We have better attendance than most P5 schools outside of the SEC and Big 10. We are 12th in the SEC(MSU and Vandy). We would be 3rd in the PAC 12, 5th in the ACC, tied for 8th in the Big 10, and 5th in the Big 12. There are lot of schools like UCLA that average around 42,000 a game.
The Chiefs being the best team in the NFL has probably excited football fans and helped us with attendance.
Playing a extra SEC game should help attendance too. In few years if the attendance continues to grow we will need to expand Faurot.
