He barely beat
Right now I would settle for barely winning than what Auburn is headed for this year, as of now.

5. Jeff Grimes, OC Baylor
Let's be honest. Auburn with a coach named Grimes is a match made in heaven.

The UL ragin Cajuns also went 13-1.
But you were responding to a poster who attended the game where Liberty lost to UL-Monroe. With HC Terry Bowden. Who went 3-8 against the rest of their schedule.
Which overlooks the fact that this proven winner had the #3 QB in the 2022 draft while playing a schedule ranked somewhere in the 90s, and still managed to lose 5 games.
As for building up Ole Miss, you forget that they won 9 games in consecutive seasons two years before he was hired, and he left them in complete disarray when he resigned in disgrace just 4 years later.
But yeah, he’s a real program builder.

Aranda and Kiffin won’t consider you guys unless you get your meddling boosters out of the way.

They need to go big this time. No more middle of the road shite

quote:OM was on the down slope when he came. The previous coaches only won 29% and 48% of their games. He won 65% of his and was followed by one that only won 42%. That's a big sign of his ability to coach with whats there.

He accomplished multiple feats that hadn't been touched by anyone except the best coach in OM history back in the 50's and 60's. If he hadn't screwed up and beat Saban 2 years in a row then Saban wouldn't have ran to the ncaa and he would still be at OM and owning the west.
OM didn't fall apart because his lack of coaching or development. It's was their garbage coach they hired.
Auburn is in a mess because Gus didn't develop anyone at QB or recruit OLinemen. Now Harsin hasn't improved anything from last year. Good coaches start showing in year 2 even if in the slightest. Auburn is all around worse than last year.

Another note on Stoops that people forget is that he built that FSU defense that had like 11 NFL guys on their 2013 defense. He has done all he can do at UK. He may be waiting on the Iowa job or maybe even Nebraska but if he wants to stay in the SEC he probably wouldnt get another chance at a big 6 SEC job.

The last time auburn hired a couch, they found a guy from a G5 school.
That’s the best they can do. These P5 head coaches are pipe dreams. They aren’t leaving to go to fricking auburn

Meddling boosters? Every program has boosters that get involved with the Athletics of a school. The Boosters you are talking about where not supportive of Harsin's hire and it took Greene making the decision on his own for them to stand against him. The Boosters with money are in agreement with who they want now.

I almost hope we hire that beavertoothed bum. Then after he fails miserably and we become an even bigger laughingstock than we are now, I won’t ever have to listen to his undeserved hype on tRant ever again.

Yet it still more relevant than OM will ever be.
Wait is Auburn ranked? What about recruiting rankings? What’s your record? Sit down son before you get pimped slapped like the bitch you are!

quote:A couple years doesn't make you relevant. Most non-media only even mentions OM because they hired Kiffin (and his media attention) and because you got made to change your mascot. Most don't even know what conference you are in. But keep pretending you are anything more than a small school having a decent year so far.

We need another coordinator or just turned coach that's won a couple games to start the year because someone mentions them as the next great.

You backwood rednecks crack me up. Hey quick question, how’s it feel to get butt fricked at home by a middling Big Ten 10. I bet that hurt didn’t it?

For whatever reason, there are more than a few retarded Auburn fans that claim they don’t want Urban Meyer anywhere near Auburn.
I guess they base this off his time in the NFL and not his time at Bowling Green, Utah, Florida and Ohio State.
Dude has a winning percentage of .854, 3 National Championships and they seriously say they don’t want him.
