Because you've used the term "reload" and said you don't "rebuild". And losing a ton of starters and replacing them is something you do every year.

Has Saban said his teams only reload, I'm really curious to know when he's made that comment and if it's a term he uses often? Because you seem a little pissy for some reason.

People have. Up to you to comprehend the information provided at this point.

Every college team goes through ebbs and flows of more experienced/talented teams matriculating through followed by less experienced/talented teams and then cycle repeats. It's just the nature of college football. Alabama isn't immune to this. Not sure what is so hard to understand.

Alabana has been “rebuilding” since Clemson whipped that arse silly on the big stage.

And if not for a joke Covid season, Alabana and Texas A&M would have the same number of titles over the last half decade: Zero

Sit this one out. Your comments are entirely too forced for your character here. Let the Bama fans and Georgia fans bicker at each other without being the gnat at the picnic. Maybe try getting laid too

Aggie has lost 4-6 games every season since 2013… except 2020, they only lost 1 game that year… hmmm

Does Aggie lose only 1 game without Covid? Nope.

Does Alabana win in 2020 without Covid? frick no.

Take out that one season and Alabana/A&M are identical since the 44-16 Beatdown of tCentury.

Whether u like it or not, there wasn’t the talent combined with seasoning that Bama usually has. Biggest thing was there was no mark Ingram or Trent running the ball and nobody on the 2021 defense starts on any of sabans previous teams. NONE.

Ummm, it’s his meth, bro. Well that plus his insatiable appetite to get attention from his daddies. Don’t think you want to go down that road.

Absurd. 2021 Will Anderson starts on pretty much ALL of Saban's previous teams.

ETA: Obviously he did start on the 2020 team along with 2021 starters Dale, Battle, Jobe and maybe 1 or 2 more.

I’d call it a restock more than a rebuild….

It is Saban making an excuse.
He is getting softer.

The next 2 seasons will be interesting.
Does he go back to his process and avoiding excuses (this was a mistake. But he is the goat.. He has earned a faux paus).
Or do we see more evidence of excuse making with frequency.

This is why every chicken has a wishbone.

If you want to say the overall caliber of talent lost off of the 2020 team was just better than you normally have to deal with, that's fair.

Then what exactly are you arguing and why are you still wasting everyone’s time? The entire premise of your argument seems to be that problems are binary - they either exist or they don’t. Well, that’s not really how it works in the real world. There can be ordinary problems that one plans for, and there can be others that are much bigger ones caused by a perfect storm of conditions. You seem to accept the explanations provided here that the extent of this issue last year was in fact greater than previous years. Soooo, we good here now, right?

Your own coach said it was Saban’s best year of coaching due to injuries and loss of previous contributors / talent lol

He literally had a new starter at every skill position and was about 8 minutes and a couple of dropped passes away from repeating as national champs

Plug and play. Saban just inserts another 5 star talent and the train rolls on.

It's not always that simple. Look at Alabama in 2010. That was one of the most talented teams on paper that Saban has had at Alabama, but they still lost 3 games. Much of the great talent that year were young, inexperienced guys.

It takes the leadership of experience and the glue guys too. And it's incredibly hard to manage all those egos when there might be multiple first round picks every year.

As a Bama fan, I have seen this phrase used every year by opposing fans since maybe 2010 or 2011 ish. Probably 2011. It's not like y'all aren't on this forum seeing these posts. At what point do y'all start to understand how silly you seem when you say stuff like this?

Self-reflection ain't really their thing.
