Weird that he refers to it as "rebuilding" as if it was different than the norm.

It is the norm to replace the starting QB, starting RB, top 3 wrs, starting TE, 3 starting OLs, starting DLs, starting LBS, and a 1st rd corner.

Because our coach and fans didnt come out crying and making excuses. We dont really care... we just pointed out how pathetic it is. You are starting to sound like auburn fans.

If you think he's making excuses, then you are stupid.

Do you think he's going to sit around and talk about how much better Georgia was? No, and nobody wants to hear that, except Georgia fans. The team and fans are more concerned about what Alabama was going through and what went wrong for Alabama, and what we can expect in the future.

That you think a coach talking about their team is an excuse highlights how much you DO CARE. You are upset because the coach didn't talk up your team...7 months later and less than 1 month until the next season. And that is what is pathetic.

Again, I have no idea what Kirby said after 2nd and 26. And I don't give a shite what his opinion on it was, if he liked it, or whatever. I'll bet money Kirby didn't spend the rest of his time talking up Alabama, or whatever. No, his concern is going to be his team and fans.

UGA does this every year. Hell... we do it mid-season.

That worked out great for 40 years.

Kirby is 1-1 in NCGs. 1-3 in SECCGs.

The only time I list our injury/depth laundry is when the opponent (win or lose) lists their injury/depth laundry.

Bama fans seem to be getting a lot of information about UGA, today.
Could it be because they are biting hard on excuse making?

Doesn't this happen every year there?
I think it's tied to the process, they project when recruiting when they need a player to be ready, the 2020 team had a lot of players turn pro that was not in the projections, so 2021 had a lot of players start the year that were not ready or projected to be starters. they got better as the year went on.

I'm full of shite saying that Saban might regret saying that they were rebuilding?

I bet he does regret it.
He likes to control the message.
Say the wrong thing and he temporarily loses that control.

Claiming a rebuilding year does not sound like Saban. Either it slipped or something is changing.

Their coach is making excuses and their fans are doubling down on the crying. They act like their team was decimated. Bryce Young had playing time the year before. It wasnt like he was a true freshman. He was the Heisman favorite. It wasnt like they were starting a 5'9 walk on. Metchie was their #2 wr in 2020. He had way more playing time than the 3 true freshmen Georgia ran out there. Robinson had been in the program forever and had more playing time than James Cook and really more than Zues over his entire time. Zues was coming off of 2 acl tears. All we heard was how great they were going to be and now all we hear is crying and excuses.....typical from saban and bama fans.

There have been some good UGA posters in this thread- you’re not one of them. You’re either flat out too stupid, too emotional, or too self-absorbed to hear this quote without assuming he’s dwelling on one game (Georgia). Bama looked vulnerable the entire year save a few flashes here and there. Literally everyone agreed on this point, the entire season. I’m sorry if that makes you sad. But more than that, I’m just confused that you give af. The trophy is in Athens- that’s all that matters. I can’t imagine ever caring this much about an opposing coach’s analysis of their own team.

Nothing new, it's college athletics. Go back to Wooden days at UCLA, always turning the roster and reinventing that group.
