Arky fans are good folk too. Jerry world game needs to die ASAP so we can get back to home and home. Two great SEC atmospheres that are getting passed over for a soulless corporate NFL stadium experience. Criminal.

I don't get the love for the neutral site games. Nothing compares to campus games for college football.

A quick image search of the average Tennessee fan compared with the average Ole Miss fan will show you the truth.

Putting some costume chandeliers and Target silverware in the back of your SUV doesn't change the large gap in economic prosperity between Mississippi and... well, everywhere else.

As much shite as we give them, 8&4 fans aren't all that bad. I've never met an a-hole one IRL.

I have been to Jerrys World for the SouthWest classic and have rode the shuttle bus with Aggie fans when they came to Fayetteville. They have all been friendly.

The Ohio Staters have to be in the running for worst fanbase. Any game they have lost is because of bad officiating. Another constant is "everybody hate us because we are so good." Overall a rather miserable fanbase. Their hatred of the SEC is unmatched in the rest of the big ten and that is saying a lot.

Notre Damers, when they are good, don't really believe anyone is close to them in talent, tradition or importance.

I have always liked Alabama people ok I just wish some of them would realize that being good is not a birthright.

Miami
Florida State

Both of the above are just plain awful - thank God their teams have been crap lately

Texas circa 1990-2010 or so, but admittedly they have mellowed out a lot since then

Duke - the t-shirtiest of t-shirt fans

Ohio St - already mentioned multiple times above

and a random one....Boise State. Have known numerous Boise State fans and they were all assholes

Edited because I forgot....Arizona State. I have not had a worse experience at an away game then I did at Arizona State. 40,000 douchebags that didn't have one single clue about football.

As someone who went to both recent ND vs UGA games in Athens and South Bend, this couldn’t be further from the truth. ND fans are top tier.

If this was a list of "worst stadiums to visit due to abhorrent fans" or "worst fanbases to come to your town", ND would not appear on this list. Neither would Aggy. Instead, LSU and Texas Tech would make appearances. But you should visit Chicago for a weekend sometime and strike up a conversation with the first few people you encounter who are wearing ND gear. You will want to jump into the river or walk into the lake, whichever is closer.

My strangest experience was at Georgia in 2007. Before the game they were some of the most gracious hosts I've ever seen, inviting us to tailgates, wouldn't accept a dollar for all the beer and ribs we were fed, etc.

Georgia goes on to whoop us like 35-14, and afterwards I swear every bar we went into they were trying to pick fights with anyone wearing orange.

But hard to top Colorado for terrible fans...and the colder it got the worse they got.

I enjoy the matchups. Like a bowl game to start the year. I'd prefer them to be on campus but it does work out well for alumni/fans who might be closer to the neutral site. I don't care for the professional stadium setting though and lack of traditional tailgates surrounding it.

I echo the Okie State comments. Very nice.

Worst from my experience? Used to be Bama but FL was kinda douchey last time we played there.

I imagine the Ohio St. vs U Mich is probably a conglomeration of aholes

I spent several years in the Midwest when I was younger and Ohio St. fans are knob gobblers. Some ND fans are flaming jackasses but most are fairly well behaved.

I only spent a little time out West but from what I hear USC fans are a pretty unpleasant bunch.

This may be a surprise to some but the Colorado fans were actually pieces of shite last year. Not only in a “trash talking” way, but more like they are just rude people.

I talked to a guy who went to a game in boulder the 90s and he said they were pieces of shite then too.

I think it’s mainly how Yankees act vs. southerners/Texans. No respect for elders, no hospitality, etc. The world revolves around them.

A tie between EWE T, IU and Ohio state.

Even UL fans are palatable compared to those tards.

They can be a novelty and a convenience on a short term basis. But they get old fast.

I live in Dallas and went to a few A&M/Ark games in Arlington because it was convenient. First game was cool because it made for an easy weekend without having to leave town. Easy way to see a game. But also boring way to see a game. After going a few times, there's no reason to go anymore. Crappy tailgating, no campus atmosphere, just a drive across town to park in a giant suburban parking lot, and sit in a soulless air conditioned stadium and watch a game essentially exactly like I would in my own living room, but with obscenely expensive crappy food and beer. frick that. College ball is all about the atmosphere and experience. Jerryworld game is beyond stale after this many years.

We had a similar experience in Athens in 2013. Beforehand everyone was literally as nice as could be, inviting us in, giving us free food, taking pictures together, etc. Afterward we were hanging out at a bar and a gravelly old man comes up to us and warns us that we probably needed to clear out before sundown because otherwise someone was going to start trouble - "we don't take too kindly to losing". He had "seen it too many times before". We of course didn't listen and sure enough once evening hit there were all kinds of country boys and frat bros both trying to start shite

1. Clemson: Their holier than thou attitude while just being a shitty all around fanbase is extremely annoying.
2. Ohio State: Played them in two Outback bowls in 2000/2001 and even as a 11 year old I remember my parents talking about how bad their fans were.
3. Tennessee: Just an obnoxious group of people.
4. UCF: Most confrontational fans that I've been around. A large guido contingent.
5. UGA: Their sidewalk fans are the worst in America.

They apparently didn't take to kindly to winning either.
