I’d venture to say we’ve seen the last Nick Saban/Kirby Smart #1 ranked recruiting classes

RIP 2008-2020. Saban was a pioneer on how to get boosters to illegally go after the top ranked players. He taught Kirby Smart well and he took his tactics to UGA with him. Now that the cat is out of the bag with NIL, their greatest weapon is open for everyone to indulge in.

A&M is paving the way for how to do it with their #1 ranked class. You haven’t seen anything yet. Wait for this time next year with USC and Miami going open season now that they have Riley and Cristobal. Texas won’t be far behind A&M either knowing that they’re on their way to the SEC and have to drop top dollar to compete.

Welcome to the new world of college football.

And yet you're not even in the top 10.

Saban will have top recruiting classes (at least top 3) until he retires

A&M is paving the way for how to do it. A new era is about to be ushered in with the first non-Saban/Smart #1 class. You haven’t seen anything yet. Welcome to the new world of college football boy.

Bama is about to bring in the highest star average it’s ever signed.

Let that sink in, and then delete your account.

You mean the same coaches of the same three schools all in a basic dead heat for the number one class?

Is there any more of a glass house than an Auburn fan accusing other programs of paying players?

This is so short sighted.
1. You act as if irregularities haven’t happened in the past
2. Teams still have to win
3. Roster management will become a premium
4. None of the above take into account players are young and dumb all the whole doing stupid stuff.

This STILL isn’t the NFL.

Does anyone want to tell him that Alabama currently has the #1 class on 247Sports and Rivals?

Alabama currently has the #1 class on 247 and rivals. #2 on On3.

It’s a dead heat for #1. And will be as long as Saban is at Alabama.

Georgia sitting at 5 5 stars and and a 314 247 ranking which would be good enough for 1st some years. Just so happens that Bama and A&M killed it on the recruiting trail this year and put up equally great classes.

Georgia and Bama are literally sitting in the Top 3 classes in the nation and this was a post you decided to make today. lol

Yea, we'll see. Every change has been the end of the machine and every change has been conquered.

A&M and Texas have always bragged about the Money generated by Alum and endowments. Well this has been what they have been waiting for. This almost guarantees them top 5 classes going forward. They will be able to outbid most teams on players. Look at the class they reeled in this year with NIL money. Reminds me of the year Ole Miss finished top 3 in recruiting. Only difference is now its all legal with NIL.

The difference is, Saban is the best coach in college football and Jimbo is, well still Jimbo. One year in college station and the aggy contribution to the portal will be huge.

Yep. If there is one thing we know about Nick Saban is that he is terrible at adjusting with the times and changing landscapes of college football.

I agree with what pat dye is saying here. U know the good ole days when players like...oh...cam Newton would commit to ms state, go to all their home games and decide the morning of he's transferring to auburn. U know when things were on the up and up.
