Anyone Else Surprised at the UGA/Michigan Opening Line?

I saw numbers as big as 9.5. Georgia absolutely should be the favorite but I think that's a bit much. Michigan beat the absolute dog shite out of an extremely talented Ohio State Team. After what I saw Saturday in Atlanta, I don't expect this to be a walk in the park for the Dawgs.

UGA is an absolutely horrible matchup for Michigan. UGA’s defense was designed to destroy those types of offenses. I would be surprised if Michigan scored more than once. That doesn’t mean it can’t or won’t happen, but… good luck.

People are getting worked up about a juju game between Saban and UGA, and overlooking the reality that UGA has been largely untouchable, including against teams that gave Alabama all they wanted.
I will not be surprised if UGA beats Michigan easily and then beats Bama by a couple scores for the title. And it looks like Vegas agrees re: Michigan.

Should be an easy win for Georgia. Georgia and Michigan have a very similar style but Georgia has way better athletes. We saw this many times in the late 2000s-early 2010s with Alabama and Big Ten teams, and it never worked out well for the Big Ten

It will come down to who keeps who off schedule the most. Both have strong defenses, but neither team has a QB who is going to be comfortable in a bunch of 3rd and long situations.

I think it has to do more with UM's strength on offense is to run the ball which even UA was not really able to do. They do not have an explosive passing attack so UM will play into UGA's strength. Again it will be another game though resting on Bennett.

Georgia matches up well with what Michigan will try to do. Alabama beat Georgia by attacking them deep. Michigan is not built that way. Georgia's defense is stout up front, but week on the back end. Michigan will try to run, but Georgia will shut that down.

More than anything the Bama game broke UGA mentally. Wouldn't be surprised by a close game or a MI beatdown. I don't see UGA winning by much if they do.

It does seem high. I have heard we matchup with them very well from sportswriters. I honestly do not know anything about them so I don't know.
I've seen predictions and 9 out of 10 pick us to win...most to win closely.
I also saw a lot of predictions picking us the beat Alabama, so.....
