It's still trashy. And you, if you haven't already done so, will regret tattoos.

It looks like Trump is aligning many nations against China. He isn't saying to other nations, "You must abandon China." But by negotiating with the US, other nations are adopting Trumps monetary policy which is not good for China.
China better get to the negotiating table.

Don't get up in arms about the US being back in Afghanistan. We need access to that base. When Trump was trying to pull out toward the end of his first term, it was a controlled demobilization. We were always going to have access to that base. And China was not going to control the air base.
I don't think Trump wants to send troops there, but having a presence in the region is not necessarily a bad thing.

It has been 10 weeks. The country is bankrupt. What did you think was going to happen?
Posted by geauxkoo on 4/4/25 at 3:11 pm
WTF do you libs think can happen in 10 weeks? This country is so far in debt, it will likely take 10 years to get close to paying off our debt. And that's only if you dip zhits will get out of the way.
The truth is, the economy is handling the situation much better than most of us anticipated.
It seems like you might not understand the depth of the hole we have dug for ourselves. Just put your head back in the sand and let the adults figure this shite out.

I refuse to believe that LSU cannot field a team that can compete with St Mary's. Granted St Mary's is a good basketball program, but I'm looking at their players, and they look to be the players who can't get into ND or a Big 10 school.
That brings me to my point.
St Mary's wins games because of the system they run. They can't take you off the dribble. They are not even that great from distance. Individually, they aren't very good, but as a team, they are formidable.
Kentucky brought back exactly 0 (ZERO) players from last years team. I know LSU is not Kentucky when it comes to basketball, but it can be done. And I'm not saying MM has to make the tourney every year, but I do expect LSU to be in the mix every year. Something is off.
I'm not saying WW is the answer, but I can say, with confidence, that MM is not it either.

re: Why companies don't manufacture in the US anymore.

Yes, you don't see US auto's in Europe is because they are simply not allowed. Or they can't afford to because of the tariffs.
What if China can't sell their cars in the US anymore, what does that do to the US automakers? What does that do to Chinese automakers?

Why companies don't manufacture in the US anymore.

The reason companies have moved out of the US to manufacture is because it is simply too expensive to build in the US anymore. With all the red tape it is nearly impossible to construct or manufacture anything.
Every single company on Earth would be happy to have a market in the US because we are the pot of gold.
The tariffs, or lack thereof, was the catalyst for many of these companies to move to China and India. They had no choice but to build manufacturing plants in other countries because they were paying upwards of 250% on goods from the US which they were trying to sell to the two most populated countries. So the advantage of manufacturing in the USA is nullified.
If we get rid of tariffs, and Trump is able to make it financially profitable to build in the US again, our economy will absolutely explode. I believe, whole-heartedly, that our economy is on the brink of major growth. If we can get passed the mid-terms with very little disruption, we are on the cusp of exciting times.

It seems he expects some tariffs or he would not advocate that he expects "external revenue."
Reciprocal tariffs would hopefully work to lower tariffs in both ways to manageable numbers.
This statement doesn't make sense. Here's why...
If the China continues to apply 25% tariffs on some American products then the USA will apply the same tariff amount on the same goods. So essentially there is no tariff because they cancel each other out. No tariffs.

Maybe I'm not reading this right, but it seems to me that what he is trying to do is convince other countries to remove their tariffs on American goods. The way he is doing this is by enacting reciprocal tariffs.
If other countries remove their tariffs on our goods, there will be no tariffs on their goods.
The fact that he has to explain this to the MSM speaks volumes about where we are as a society.
