Another thing I’ll say for the coaches and RBs. Whenever they were in traffic they had two hands on the ball. Probably prevented them from breaking some tackles but I’ll take the trade off.

Totally agree. Yowsers…

It is so fun for Auburn to win and to then get to watch other teams play!

We gotta find a way to get Cam Coleman involved in the RPO game. It looks like we’re going to be an RPO team unless something drastically changes. Jackson Arnold is just not a drop back guy.

Nice to get the season started off with a good W.

We have a lot to work on.

We ran the ball at will and didn't put the ball on the ground.

JA made some nice throws.

Our OL played well.

I avoided this thread. Who’s complaining about the lack of passing game? I know some here are saying it’s a huge issue.

Offensive game plan was fantastic. Beat them with a vanilla offense? Take it every fricking time. Now other teams will be loading the box and we let the WRs run! Great offense.

Defense - I was underwhelmed with the D. They played ferocious, but still seemed to not be sound, with the clear busted coverage on the first long TD.

Overall - HUGE win. Just remember before you try and trash the win (Lanier) you were just hoping for a 1point win two days ago

Good: No turnovers

Bad: tackling needs work

Good: offense took what they gave us and RAN it great

Good win

Arnold had >100 yards rushing and >100 passing something that nobody has done since Cam.

Some Positives:

Got the W!
No turnovers
We ran the darn ball well enough
...Add your own....

Need to work on :
Tackling
Tackling
Tackling
JA hesitant to throw early enough
Need more of the passing game (of course it could be holding off until later but if you don't practice it you don't do it...need to pass better..see one above)

I am sure that I will think of more later...

I loved the offensive game plan. Run the ball if you’re killing them with it.

This was a must win game - the run game was clearly going to win it. I don’t think any of our WRs are concerned. They will be needed pretty soon when defenses try to stop what we did tonight.

No one freak out about lack of catches

No complaints from me. Gave up a few busted plays on defense. Missed some tackles on quick slants but dline was nasty oline was more than serviceable run game worked Arnold wasn’t missing guys we just took what they gave us.

On to the next one

Great win away in Waco.

Lots to improve upon and that’s okay.

Yes WR’s know when they are getting mugged and refs aren’t doing anything about it. They know when they are playing deep shell coverage. I wish we adjusted and did some comeback routes and hit the flats, but overall we took what they gave us and capitalized on it.
