This. He has FAR more earning potential in the case of a career ending injury as a notable Auburn alum vs a measly 100-300k.

But then....you look at lamelo ball who played himself into a top 3 pick this upcoming draft it can work both ways

Lamelo didn't have any other choice really, but I would say it has worked out for him so far.

Had he been eligible to play in the NCAA, I think he would've opted to play in college for a year as it was being reported at one point.

His brother went top 3 after going to college... and it sounds like lamelo is a better overall prospect.

Yeah, Lamelo was going to be a top pick regardless of where he went. Still, it shows you can go overseas and improve your stock.

It will likely just boil down to what experience Green wants.

When would this kid be signing if he does choose to sign with us?

Is he in the same class as Cooper? Bringing in 2 5* kids in one class would be incredible but college basketball signing dates are strange to me.

The signing period starts mid April and lasts about a month. It’s similar to how football is now.

ETA: Yes, he’s in the same class as Cooper. Cooper is probably the main reason we lead the other schools.

Question is what pro team is Okoro going to be sexy with? I agree that Cooper and Green will be sexy especially if Kuminga reclassifies and we add him to replace Okoro.

He’s turning down being a multi millionaire to “play with his boy?” I think I would just no longer trust his judgment at that point

He'll be working on his perimeter game in a Timberwolves jersey....last few Big Boards I've seen have him as a Top 3 prospect...Him. GONE.

No chance. I wish it was a reality but it is not.

I want the best for Auburn guys. When you are a draft top 5-10 lock, you go.

Really? Did you stop trusting Derrick Browns judgement when he turned down 1st round money and came back for his SR season?

Thank you. So there is an early signing period then a month long signing period. That makes sense as to why it confused me.

Brown wasn't projected as a top 5 pick.

Totally different situation. Derrick Brown was being considered a late first rounder. This is one of the weakest NBA Drafts in a long time, which is partially why Isaac is getting top 5 buzz. Isaac isn't a top 5 pick in 90% of NBA drafts. If Isaac is still projected to be top 5 and then comes back at the end of the season, I would question his financial judgment.

I certainly wish that was the case, but I see no chance of that happening.
