I drove to the airport to welcome him (I wasn't in the group jumping up and down for him). I knew we just struck gold and it was only a matter of time....

re: Leath is out - AUNashville
His help to get us to R1 is definitely appreciated - PAIR was a good idea. The suddenness of his departure definitely raises eyebrows, though.
It was supposedly in the works for a while, so maybe it was planned to go into effect in the summer when things are a bit slower around the...

re: Leath is out - AUNashville
Haha, for real! Seriously though, I didn't know any direct information about his time at Auburn, but from what I hear, this should be a good move. I'm proud of Auburn for taking action. Now let's go hire a real knock out president who can take Auburn even further....

re: Okeke goes to Orlando Magic 1st rd #16 - AUNashville
I'm so happy for him and for Auburn basketball...it's a big night for both and it's only the beginning. Can't wait to see him back on the plains some day soon....

That's way higher (lower in #) than anyone expected him to go. What're your thoughts?...

re: #Final4BasketballSchool Thread - AUNashville
Im sure he's off by now and I missed it, but what was he saying? Talking Chuma or just prospects in general? We played so many of the top prospects on this draft, I think like 7 or 8 of the projected top 10 and half or more of the projected first round, Pearl would be as good an expert as any...

re: This year's offense - AUNashville
Different QB, different OL, means entirely different offense. Purdue game not even worth thinking about
I have the same thoughts. If your OL is good to great, we should perform better than expected, but we need a good QB to run the show. Both of those things are question marks g...

re: #Final4BasketballSchool Thread - AUNashville
Does anyone have any guesses as to the schedule for Chuma's return to the court? The NBA season begins in October, but I don't think Chuma will be ready to play until early 2020. Do you think he plays all of the upcoming season in the D-league as a type of rehab for him?...

re: The ridiculous college football history between Notre Dame and Auburn - AUNashville
I'd love to play the Irish only if it's a home and home setup. No more neutral site "insert company here" kick-off games. I can't wait for our games against Cal and UCLA...I know their a ways off, but that's the type of scheduling I like....

re: Greatest Year in Athletics History - AUNashville
I have only been following Auburn athletics closely since 2002-ish. This is definitely the most successful athletics year I can remember. If only our S&D program were still a power house, they could throw in another championship or two. I'm confident in Gary Taylor's abilities to get us back t...

re: and Thank You, Jay Jacobs...again - AUNashville
idk if Jacobs would have gone after Bruce if the fanbase wasn't screaming for Bruce and JJ wasn't already in a place where he was desperately trying to appease the fans.
Pretty accurate here. The water was already getting hot for him in early 2014, and if he didn't make a splashy h...

re: and Thank You, Jay Jacobs...again - AUNashville
We have seldom, if ever, had a better sports time than we are having currently. Jacobs isn’t here. Coincidence? Probably not. Good riddance. That stupid, fat smirk is enough to make me hate him anyway.
This is my take too. I think the culture of the department is much improved unde...
