KN just put in a CB for JG. Didn’t think he did basketball recruiting

Noice!!!! KN has been doing a little basketball reporting. Just wrote a piece on Chris Moore as a matter of fact. That piece and the CB could be linked.

KN’s piece he wrote detailing the reasons behind his CB didn’t really offer much new.

Why Green could choose Auburn:
- Pearl, little Pearl, and Bowman are pushing hard for his services. Have traveled far multiple times to see him play and that hasn’t gone unnoticed.
- His friendship with Cooper
- He wants to join successful teams and Bruce has made Auburn a high profile team.

Other factors that played into his pick:
-Sources close to Green’s camp say Auburn is the team to beat.
-High confidence among our signed enrollees that we get him.
- CB lead is at 64%

Why he might not choose Auburn:
- He goes pro.
- The NCAA nabs Auburn before NSD

I am always curious how the arrive at 64%...or 31%...or 93%...

Why not an even 65%? Or 60% for that matter? What really causes that 1% difference?

You’re thinking of something different. The 64% number was derived by simple arithmetic.

Simple arithmetic? Ha Ha! Pray tell me how he evolved to 64% using simple arithmetic?

In other words...he guessed..and 64% catches you eye more than 65%?

Kind of like $2.99 for gas instead of $3.00?

No. The CB lead is the total number of CBs out for Jalen Green. 64% of the CBs predict Auburn.

We are a got damn everything school and the incompetence of our fanbase has me shook right now.

What’s going on here

11 predictions total. 7 to Auburn. 7 ÷ 11 = 63.6

I know the board has a drug problem but damn

Did no one teach you how to calculate percentages in elementary school?

I try to tell two people 2+2= 4, and they’re bellyaching because they want it to be 31.

I’m kidding. I’m sure you can explain things better than me.

Each 247 writer/reporter/insider/moron or whatever they are called can issue their one individual crystal ball predictions for each recruit.

If Jang and I were 247 reporters and Jang CB'ed Recruit A to Alabama and I CB'ed Recruit A to Auburn.. then Recruit A's 247 recruiting profile would say 50% of CBs to Auburn and 50% of CBs to Alabama.

THank you. That is all I needed to know, as I really didn't know exactly how the CB's were calculated.

Sometimes it just takes a simple explanation for a simple arithmetic question...instead of smart-A$$ comments (I am kidding here..I can take them too. You have to in order to survive the best AU message board around)

Ah, I admittedly thought that was a confidence %. Makes sense now.
