Now that I've seen him I like Powell no turnovers in 28 minutes is impressive for a freshman I like Thor's potential. His lack of strength shows in all the ticky tack fouls though. He present some huge matchup problems so we'll need him to stay on the court more tomorrow. Other than that nothing really overly impressive about the win but I'll take it. Disappointed in Cambridge. Same shot he had last year. He's never going to be a consistent 3 pt or even a decent ft shooter with that form. He had nothing but time to rework his shot in the off-season.

........and still shoots too early in the shot clock at the end of the game. IIRC, it cost us a game last year. It didn't tonight, but that was a dumb shot nonetheless.

Same with Jamal Johnson

Main issue with Cambridge is shot selection, way too many contested/bad shots. But to his defense this has consistently been a product of Pearls offense. I know he wants to players to play free and he thinks we can get offensive rebounds on those bad shots but at some point he has to stress shot selection and more player movement on offense

Anyone remember the last time we beat St. Joe’s in OT?

The clutch gene: #Auburn has won nine straight overtime games and is 12-2 in OT under Bruce Pearl. BRUCE.

That’s pretty amazing... and unsustainable

Think we said this same thing for the past two years

It’s definitely the case that last night when we forced OT I already felt like we had won

Powell will be the guy other teams hate in a few years. He'll play what will seem like 200 games in his Auburn career and it'll piss off everyone.

Cambridge has to step up for this team or he needs to hit the pine
Thor will be a stud, when I do not know, but he has the looks of a player with the highest potential we’ve ever had.

Powell has a great toolbox: adequate size, good handle, makes crisp passes, good shooter, can finish, and makes free throws.
He will be on the floor at crunch time.
I hope Cooper gets to play because I want to see Powell off the ball shooting and cutting.

Even though I feel we lose this game against the Zags, I’m really interested to see how our guys match up.

almost time to upset two #1s this weekend. Would be awesome to turn this into the best 36 hours for Auburn sports in a long time.

Two games in 16 hours with a Thanksgiving meal thrown in somewhere is ridiculous. Guessing P4P U and St Joe's get the 1pm because of TV and football.

Reading 2 Zags are sitting out due to contract tracing or something? They didn’t test positive?
