A beautifully frustrating team. Glad that I’ll get to stress about this team all year

I’ll take it. Got ugly at times but effort was always good. Gotta find a rhythm on offense and hit the open three. Williams plays like a veteran and has a very high basketball IQ.

Long and athletic. Not the best shooting team we’ve had, but neither was last year’s team. Fairly deep too but at the end of the game we got an idea of who Pearl trusts the most.

Powell lives up to the “white guys are good at free throws” stereotype

I think Powell was 3/4 from 3 as well. He’ll be a good backup to Cooper I hope

We had 18 turnovers. Seemed like most were us getting in a hurry and making a mistake.

Also need to figure out some UA shoes that aren’t trash. Our guys were slipping all night.

I think he could be absolute hell to defend at the 2. We could screen him open all day.

If Auburn wants to win this year, Powell needs to be a starter.

A lot of things to like about our personnel but definitely a work in progress

Couldn’t watch live but going to watch now. Surprised we and they scored so many points.

He needs to run the point until Cooper is cleared. Dude can flat out ball.

Good win. The new players were our best players, IMO.

We led by 8-10 for the majority of the game until SJU went on a run with 5 min left and took the lead.

Tl;dr version: we led for 59 minutes, blew the lead on a blown ref call, tied the game, then won in OT. We got buckets in da paint

Agreed. We were noticeably better when he was in.

Jaylin Williams started slow but dominated the stat sheet. Some big rebounding numbers too

Williams is by far our best player. Powell played extremely well for his first game. Turbo had flashes of being a good PG he just needs to not try to do too much. Cambridge quietly had a double double along with Williams. He just needs to be more consistent and play smarter. Stretch played more under control than last year and Cardwell played about like stretch played last year. I think we can be a solid team (especially if cooper returns).

Jones looks HUGE compared to the kid I remember from last year. I could be thinking about the wrong player though.
