I've just never understood the Wiley hype
Maybe he is still working himself into form, but I've been consistently underwhelmed with Wiley. I think he had 1 great game as freshmen (TCU maybe), and otherwise hasn't done much. Having said that, he fills important needs for a legit big and depth in the front court, so I'll just keep hoping he turns the corner and lives up to the hype.

He's our best player, imo. He defers too much though. Hope we get one more year of him.

It is weird watching a game where AU is never in any danger.

Hope I get accustomed to it.

Tapping out now. Good night all.

He has the highest ceiling but I keep waiting for him to break out. But at the same time his floor is so high. His athleticism and length, terrific defense and rebounding don’t slump even when his shot is off.

I'd like to see him in San Antonio to replace that bum Rudy Gay

Chuma is probably the best NBA prospect on the team. Has the proper size and length. I wish he would be more aggresive on offense and he needs to work on guarding people driving.

It was Alabama, where he had a double double like 2 days after his 18th birthday.

Yep, that is the most physical game he’s played here. He was bullying Hall all game long.

shite is like this every year. How hard is it to update the title to reflect the record and the next opponent?

My take on Wiley is that he is improving by playing. Practice only does so much for you, the intensity, etc. is just not the same.

He had a great game against Duke, he has improved on playing defense and blocking shots without getting into foul trouble. When we play teams with a big inside presence, he will be great for us. I would not write him off yet.

Washington putting up a good fight at Gonzaga. As painful as they are to watch most of the time, they're actually playing well in the 2nd half.

Damn, that's about as good a result as we could've hoped for. Now the zags have to play UT which will be an equally as telling game hopefully.
