One to watch, imo.

Not as starter but as a depth piece.

Noah Fifita in the portal. I think he’s one to play close attention to. His named popped up a few times through October. Was really good in 2023 running a RPO system. Not as good in 2024.

I think he’d be a really good fit.

Fifita should be judged on last year.

I went on reddit to see comments about their season, a lot of respect for Fifita. They are on their 3rd string LT and the line isnt very good to begin with. Comments like "he has to dodge two sacks before he can look downfield, etc. And he is just pressing this year cause they lost so many kids to the portal when their coach left.

He is small, but he is a gamer.

Yep. I watched a good bit of his film from last season and this season. He’d be a great fit in Hugh’s system. Not a guy we want to rely on to run a lot, but he could distribute the ball well to the WRs.

He is a lot like Bryce Young in his athleticism. Definitely mobile enough that you can’t routinely crash the backside of plays. That happened way too much with Thorne/Hank. He can run for sure. Just generally opts to extending plays and throwing than taking off.

We gonna land any o-lineman in the portal or just go after playmakers?

We better or Gus will still be responsible for the OLine downfall.

For some reason, Auburn is toxic for high school linemen and has been for a while. Not sure anyone has a real answer why

Man. My only grip with him is he was out a month from injury.

Not tracking that at all. There was a juco/transfer we were after I believe but he chose Penn State maybe 2 years ago? Maybe that’s what you’re thinking of?

I liked him at GT. But is that because he’s in the ACC? Idk…

Have to start getting linemen drafted. The only kicker there is, you have to have NFL talent on your roster for that to happen.
