Georgia baseball head coach Wes Johnson spoke with reporters this week and was asked about his name being associated with the Mississippi State vacancy after Chris Lemonis was fired last month.

Johnson, who is in his second season in Athens, shot down any speculation on the rumors.

Kendall Rogers keeps perpetuating the idea that he is. UGA is working on an extension with Wes but sounds like the noise is reaching the fanbase so tht he had to dispel the rumor.
