Yeah really weird to me. With Daniels not getting here until summer the back up job was wide open too.
Oh well. I went from rooting for him even with him transferring to just not caring either way.

Yea just particularly odd from him. He’s a great kid. Wish him best of luck. Just weird comment.

We play Baylor next year. Now they know a thing or two about our playbook.

If this game is strongly affect or decided by the hints WW gives to a defensive coordinator then we're absolutely cooked next year anyway

The waffle house menu he has with plays d re awn up on it will be irrelevant by then

antonio white from Rutgers in the portal, former teammate of Jay Crawford at Parkview in ATL. Good player. Would love to see us go after him.

Spavital will probably get a HC gig before Walker White starts games for Baylor. Also, Baylor’s QB is a transfer.
Just how it goes now. Walker White went to Baylor because that was his best offer. They’ll see him for a year as a backup and have an opportunity to recruit above him just like freeze and any other coach would
Good luck to him

Really?

It was one-and-done for the former four-star who was unable to land on the two-deep even when injuries hit some of the players at the position. Rutgers uses three safeties but Whiute was unable to become one of the top six as he did not seem to be a fit for Rutgers. He was the highest-ranked recruit in the RU class of 2024 and will have four years of eligibility remaining after not appearing in a single game his past season.
They use 3 safeties and he couldn't break into the rotation. Not sure that we would go after him when there are probably better out there.

Rutgers is tough to be top 6 at Safety....

Christian/Baptist college might fit better.
Last schools he visited AU, Clem, Baylor. (247)
Was Hugh in Liberty mode.... WTF knows.
Some reason l always got a Tebow vibe with better talking.... so maybe no.

I agree. Auburn was linked to him heavily last year. We went to Kaleb Harris instead
That worked out

So walker white transferred to Baylor? What happened to all the talk about being Closer To Home because his mother was sick? Heard she's been well and in remission. So he was scared to compete??? Why the refenferce about going somewhere where they can develop a QB? So was he just chasing a bag as well as worried about competition? WEIRD.

Baylor is closer to his home than Auburn is.

Wish he would have stayed and competed with Arnold. If Baylor was offering alot more, can't fault him too much (plus no state income tax in Texas). Don't appreciate the parting comments. With how college football is these days, probably not wise to burn bridges

LMAO. I knew someone would attempt this spin. Baylor is inconsequentially closer. It is still a near full-day trip from Baylor to Little Rock.
He left for football reasons, nothing else. If he was leaving "to get closer to home" he would have had that conversation with the staff and entered the portal on the first day of opening. Instead he blindsided them (he announced his intentions hours after the media team put out that graphic that had Jackson Arnold, Deuce Knight, and himself as the "Highest Rated QB Room"). If they knew he was leaving they never would have put out that graphic, and if he was leaving for that reason there would be zero reason for him to hide that from the staff.

Still closer
And he won’t have to drive through Memphis which is a huge win

He calling out Hugh’s fake arse so good for him if he can see through it.

He has moved on, perhaps we should too?
