No doubt. I will say that he was one of the few guys to move on from Auburn, accept responsibility, and not blame us for failing. He said he should have taken to the coaching during his pre draft interview. That's probably why he still made it.
signed a freaking 4 year deal today!!! Unreal story
Was decent at Maryland somehow and still made the league. What a head scratcher
Yeldon even lied to our staff for Bama, and committed to Saban during the dead period so we couldn't sign another back. Our coaches asked him about the decommitment rumors before it happened, but he just stuck to the lie and screwed us. Pickens was a close number 2 for lying to Owen and forcing our recruits to leave their commitment ceremony only to watch him choose Georgia. Screw them both. Honorable mention Brent Callaway...... Just a sad situation for those who remember it.

Rip to a true legend
Guys..... Not to be Debbie downer but..... Say we land this 5* kid.... Why she would be at all exited when we know we're going to have to recruit him 3 times? Does this kill the excitement for any of you also?
If we still want to rebuild through highschool how exactly do we prevent schools who are willing to spend more (Ole Miss) (LSU) (Texas schools) and (Oregon) from sliding in and taking the fruits of our labor? We clearly plan on spending for Basketball and Baseball still while other schools could give a damn freeing up even more cash for Football. How do we develop and keep our best HS recruits? If we use family, sunshine, and lollipops we will absolutely destroyed in this landscape. Hope we have a better plan.
I'm pissed we missed out on the North Carolina guy.... but I've heard D.Smith is Really talented. Pretty much from the moment he showed up ion campus. Depth not the talent of our starting lineup is what bothers me.
Nobody is as talented as the teams we had to face back when Harsin was the Coach. The talent gap simply CANNOT be as wide as it once was. Now it's about strategy, coaching, development, and how well you play on a Sat. Alabama showed up and played poorly at times, but still won by 2 TDs on certain Saturdays. Those days have ended. As good as Texas and Maybe Oregon will be next year.... both those rosters would get rolled 10 years ago.
Amaris has also not lived up to what I view as 5 star. Carl Lawson healthy was a five star. He had like 4 sacks as a true freshman. Both of them have work to do, we shall see.
Amaris also wasted his whole first season because of attitude issues. Womack was similar in terms of talent AND cheaper. It's a win win
Both have the skill set to be successful, and I actually think Amaris has the (potential) to break out, but I also see no reason why Womack can't have a similar ascension a year later.
I only care how we perform now. Being talented means nothing when you go 5-7. Let's hope this is the start of respectability
Actually beating Oregon for a guy would be shocking
