Was really solid his two years at A&M.

If we do well in the portal again and finish top 10-15 I’ll be fine but man we got a long ways to go. Good grab though seemingly.

Classes outside of the top 10, heck even top 5, are only going to get you to the top if you have an exceptional head coach and staff. With Freeze, we have to be around the top 5 every year. We may be competitive with top 15 classes, but we are not challenging for a natty. And isn’t that the goal?
But, great news on the DB xfr. Hope he shows out in the orange and blue.

As far as I know grades we're a big issue for him and he was trying to focus on that and had a lot of work to do to become eligible again.

Just things I have seen on the net........
Grades were the issue, he actually had to go to juco for a year, wonder if he went to class at all at A&M.
Sounds like Durkin visited him, whom Jacoby really likes, and Durkin said his head is on straight (his athletic talent was never a question).
Sounds like that second safety position where Sylvester Smith is, they wanted a little insurance while Newboy and Eric develop.
This fricking secondary is good AND stacked over two deep.

This team is more than capable of going 10-2 if our coaches don't screw it up. What have you seen from Baylor, Oklahoma, or A&M that say we shouldn't have strong chances?
