I'm thinking next guy's already sown up and the uniform is ready to go.

Just fun speculating and what if's. Yep, his feet are probably not all that well suited for what we're expecting.

eta: and announcers last night said he's mostly ran (sic) air-raid since high school.

Don’t really care about his running ability. Biggest concern is his arm post-injury. I think he could be awesome in the offense if he was his old self, but unless we miss on several guys I’m hoping we don’t push too hard.

I have never really watched him. I know he has racked up some yards but yesterday, he looked like he had an arm or shoulder issue. Dude chicken arms his throws. Is that his normal motion or is he injured?

No, he had a big time arm. His throws last night looked more like Chris Todd or Throne floaters. I guess his injury hasn’t fully healed yet.

His NFL scouting report

Downfield passing ability is inconsistent at best.

Way too early prediction, but I think he goes to Neb. They are desperate for a QB and they have money to spend.

I’ve heard WKU with the old Leach staff.

Rogers completing like 28 passes in a row against us when they made their comeback was stupid good.

I would like to have him.

Lanier,

I think last year we really were caught flatfooted with the portal QBs, this year much better prepared.

Like others on here, I believe communications have been going on for a while with the potential transfers and we will probably land one very quickly.

Portal QBs, and good ones, are not that hard to find. A quick run through of the top 25 shows that roughly half of ranked teams in CFB have portal QBs

Portal Qb’s and good portal QB’s are not the same.

I hope you are right. It is a gamble. One that we took last year and lost on.

Let’s hope we roll better this year or next year could be worse than this year.

Certainly, and we are finding that out tbe hard way. However, like 4 of the top 5 QBs this year are portal guys so they are definitely out there.

I've heard Cam Coleman has taken 4 trips to Auburn in the last week and a half, and will be in Auburn for the iron Bowl tomorrow as well. This dude is something else to watch. Could be our highest rated receiver since like Kyle Davis. Wonder what Happened to that dude?

Jesus, is he getting free blowjobs or something? Why?

Feels fishy.

I remember when he came. A lot of us thought he would break all records at Auburn. Amazing how a few of these players worked out. Byron Cowart comes to mind. Just crazy

Imagine how good those DLs with Brown and Davidson could have been if he had lived up to the hype.

Seriously. Could have been totally dominant,

If I am not mistaken, Cowart was at the time, the highest "rated" Auburn recruit ever. LOL. Didnt even make 12 plays for us

Seems like we should just cut this kid loose. The co stant back and forth with him is pretty ridiculous.

He still is according to 247. Derrick Brown is 2nd all time highest rated.

Cam Coleman would be 3rd highest rated all time if he signs at AU. His composite rating is .9962. For comparison, Derrick Brown was .9964. Cowart was .9987

Partly NIL, partly family, partly just a kid torn in many directions.

Course whether we get him or not, ya gotta be polite, dont want to piss off any chances with his little brother though I dont think we are very close anyway.

With the NIL this is like being drafted and you know how many parasites parading as family and friends that brings out of the woodwork, probably some getting money on the side if they sway a kid. Its a big ugly business now.
