I must have missed the investigation where Lane got busted with hookers. Please link the info.

Also, Lane has a better chance of getting hired by Auburn than Freeze. I stand a better chance of hitting the lotto than either of them getting hired.

Rhett Lashley, welcome home. Because, Auburn.

LOL! It's pretty common knowledge about Joey Freshwater. Remember why Bowden got fired? 'Ol Joey was prowling the campus bars in T-Town.

I remember the rumors of Kiffin and coeds, vaguely remember something about TN football hostesses, but I don't remember anything about Kiffin and hookers.

Naive gonna naive. Just how do you think he got the moniker of "Joey Freshwater"? He gave it to his self!!!!

Just so that I'm straight with your way of thinking, a middle aged man paying a hooker for her services is worse, than a middle aged man, rich, and prowling the college campus bars for 18-22 y/o females.

Yep, we're lucky to have Gus. He can't coach but he keeps his pants on around town and always comes home to the Mrs.

Well, one is illegal and his employer was involved, an investigation ensued and which led to his termination and sanctions against his former employer.

One was an internet message board rumor that was unsubstantiated but someone had a friend who was hit on by "joey freshwater." It resulted in some internet fun, nothing further.

I fail to see how these are the same. Maybe I missed a big news story of something about Kiffin, if so please fill me in.

While you’re absolutely correct that there’s no comparison in Freeze’s well-documentetd transgressions to Kiffin’s alleged behavior, it still doesn’t change the fact that Kiffin would not leave Oxford for Auburn.

It’s not 1998 anymore. There’s far too much money involved for that to happen.

Alabama was playing in the National Championship game that year. Saban wouldn't let Kiffin coach that game. Wonder why?

I think you're nuts. KIffin would love nothing more than to have a legitimate crack at Saban every year, which he'd get at Auburn. He has also shown absolutely nothing in his career to suggest that he's going to be "loyal" to a school like Ole Miss.

It's about the $. Can Oxford reasonably match what we can throw?

I don't think Kiffin would be someone Auburn would ever want to make a serious run at, so Oxford could afford to keep him.

Okay, but now you're arguing an entirely different point. Equal money at Auburn vs. Ole Miss isn't the same thing, and Kiffin doesn't strike me as the type to reward a school like Ole Miss for matching an offer. But again now we're discussing hypotheticals about how much we'd allegedly want Kiffin.

If Kiffin can talk his Dad into coming along ....Otherwise ...stay on the other side of the border.

To answer your question: Kiffin is represented by...you guessed it.

I do think he's going to be a good HC for them, and would probably do well for us - but he violates the Jimmy Sexton Rule, and therefore will always be a no-go for me.

Who doesn't that cocksucker represent? And yes, I hate that SOB more than Gus.

Is Pat Dye Jr still an agent? Anybody know if he represents coaches?

No way. Monte's Tampa 2 D was figured out years ago. It is no longer successful at any level. See Chizik D (Tampa 2 style) in 2004 vs 2010.
