Why can’t QBs come here and play well?? We have one of a handful of QBs who passed for 3000 and rushed for 1000, and he looks like Jeremy Johnson out there.

Once again, who did he wreck those numbers up against? This is one of the problems that this board has. They get excited when our team beats up on some high school team or about some player that we get who wrapped up a bunch of stats against fricking G5 competition.

It is not the same playing against four and five star talent.

Brown is the least of our worries. It’s Durkin and the Oline.

I don’t disagree with you, but it’s not just him. Dating back to post Nick Marshall, QB after QB comes in, doesn’t matter if they’re HS or a transfer, and absolutely forgets how to throw a forward pass, how to read a defense.

Jesus Christ… brown is way down the list of issues. In fact he’s the only one keeping us in that game. He’s the teams leading rusher.

The offense will be fine… but if we don’t toughen the fk up we won’t win 5 games.

I agree with you totally. He made some good plays late. But he is no where near what eveyone expected.

Im just saying looking at his stats from the past year or so does not equate to our schedule. Thats all.

I’m worried about what we’re gonna look like next year when he’s gone lol… I’m sure Golesh will find someone but it’ll be a ton of production to replace.

Our offensive problem seems to be our Oline. Interior gets no push and just generally sucks

We also don't have the NIL budget to have fixed it in tbe portal in the off-season. The best way to do that is through long term recruiting, experience and continuity.

I was hoping Brown would be better, but our offense looks serviceable. A huge upgrade over the past 7 years

Yea and we are a hot mess right now. Just bringing in guys to help with the problem is not going to be easy. Good olinemen are not easy to find and everybody is buying.

Constantly being a shite program now is not making it easy to get the right guys. Its not just about the money like some think

Golesh has his hands full.

We had just over 200 yards of offense midway through the 4th quarter before the last 2 drives.

Like Beatbammer said, Florida's defense laid back like a ten dollar whore the last two drives.

Offense sucks too.

We could have bought Ashton Daniels for cheaper and got better OL.

Number 77 Freshman Wilson Zierer might be our best offensive lineman after the season is done. So at least we can hand him to Texas after this season

That’s after a dreadful first quarter of negative yards. We gained 400ish yards in 3 quarters. Similar to the Baylor game… got off to a bad start but got things somewhat clicking.

With this OL it is what it is… gonna be a lot on browns shoulders to carry offensive load against good defenses.

Why didn’t Mabson get any touches last night?

He did and he almost fumbled the ball.

I am sure it was coach speak, but Sumerall side we didn't interview him. Sounded bitter.

I heard Sumrall was on board and then got pissed bc Cohen extended 3rd&Durkins contract without even asking if Jon was ok with it.

Bad o-line play has tricked us into thinking a lot of these QBs suck. Stidham his second year, Bo Nix and I’m sure you could add more. Bad o-line play has plagued us more than bad QB play, IMO.

The line is bad on both sides of the ball. But what have we done to help in terms of play calling? Baylor’s qb gets hurt, so they change their game plan for quick throws with mid-range tossed in. They killed us with slants.
Meanwhile, our OL may be the worst unit in the SEC and our QB is holding the ball longer than any other QB in the conference.
I have seen countless offenses with less than half of our NIL that look light years better than ours.

We can't act surprised. Hell, Captian B called for Gus' firing in 2015. Cohen needs to be fired mid season if the wheels fall off. I am not writing Golesh off yet.
