He’s a proven winner with some baggage but the more he wins the further that’s in the rear view mirror.

So you think another high school coach is the answer for what reason? Why not go complete opposite and try to get some one willing to recruit from the NFL?

I hope not. 55 passes to 15 runs would happen every week under Freeze.

If Hugh Freeze were a competent coach he would either still be at Ole Miss or he would’ve catapulted that job into a major P5 HC position. But instead he lied, his staff cheated, and he was fired amidst a scandal.

Yet he’s the fit for Auburn because he’s winning at Liberty? No thanks we can throw the bank at someone like Matt Campbell instead

Doubt he would come. But overall he would be the better choice. If given time and no meddling, he could build the program to a consistent winner.

Hugh Freeze>>>>>Mario Cristobal

Hugh would beat Bama regularly and the games he would lose to them would be highly competitive, down to the last play. Also there is no doubt he would win a championship here.

Do you think Bruce could coach both hoops and football?

What's he ever won? He beat Bama a couple times...The guy we have does that.

with some baggage

Yeah calling up hookers with a school phone is a little more than some "baggage". Especially with the high and mighty, holy roller attitude he put forward. The guy is a pure slime ball. Laremy Tunsil in a gas mask on draft night. The Nkemdiche bros. Some of y'all must be forgetting what a shite show OM was.

Gus isn't the guy. It's been apparent for a long time now. But to hire basically the same guy who would have the entire NCAA enforcement division committee break out the microscope on Auburn. Not to mention the negative recruiting that could be done to all the Mom's out there.

I just don't see it. He never won a thing at OM and got them pounded by the NCAA to show for it. They were the absolute laughing stock of college football for his last 2 years there.

Based on what; exactly? I’m genuinely curious.

I want Gus gone, but Freeze crossed a line and I don't want him at AU. There are some things larger than football.

Serious question, do you think Hugh Freeze did anything different than what the school across our State has done?

There is no question Hugh Freeze is a good coach. Give him the the same caliber of players that Alabama gets, and he'd be talked about as the GOAT.

I could use your words, and just replace Freeze with Pearl. See how that works?

It’s time for Freeze. Everyone wants to win, let’s do it. Freeze is not Petrino

I agree.

I stand with Anti-Freeze.
