I’m just saying Freeze had talent to do better. He was at Ole Miss and obviously they were blessed to have him, but his losing record to Gus and overall accomplishment wasn’t that great. If there were no character concerns, I’d be less concerned but you know, that shite has to be weighed too.

Well when Kirby’s team is consistently Uber talented and waaaay up there constantly knocking on heaven’s door you knew it was only a matter of time before Kirby made his way in.

I've never been big on Hugh but maybe he's what we need. Tried and true at a lesser SEC program. If you told me this is another Tubbs type of hire I would say hell yes.

Me too. The only thing they have in common is coaching at Ole Miss. Tubbs was a defensive guy, not an offensive guy married to a system that hasn't evolved much.
To spend $40 million to land on Freeze is idiotic. We aren't firing a guy who's been here 10 years. If they all have boners for Freeze, why not hire him 22 months ago, and bypass all the Steele talk that got us here? Same with Grimes, he was doing the same thing 2 years ago he is now.
I'm hoping for something unlike anything we've done in 10+ years...Deion or Lane
