If Gus goes home to Arky would you guys want us to bring Champ and T-Rob back? I could get on board if he had a dynamic OC but no way in hell with Roper.

No way Gus leaves for Arky would take him 4yrsof recruiting to get a 2 deep for his system. He should contend for the west again next year at AU. Besides he really didn’t have to rebuild the Onwhen he came here they were all recruited by him

Arky is getting the table set by firing Long today. Gus running home to Arky would not shock me at all. I’ve been saying this most of the season. The chatter has been coming out of both Aub and Ark for quite a while now.

Hell I could see Fla even making a run at Gus. Spurrier loves Gus and they golf together.

Its doubtful he leaves for any of those programs mentioned in this thread. Arky is a big step down from here.

It would me at this point. Gus seems happier now compared to earlier in the season. Winning and JJ gone may have something to do with that.

Hypothetical: If Gus goes home, I would be okay with Champ.

Please someone enlighten me with the infatuation with Muschamp as a head coach. Failure at Florida with no offense. Nothing of note at South Carolina to this point in a terrible division

I’m DEFINITELY not fascinated with him as a HC but I just know Auburn’s hiring pattern.

Failure? He almost won a title there. He dealt with Urban not recruiting his last year. Did he make some mistakes? Sure, but all young coaches do. He has USCe playing well with the limitations they have.

They won 10 games one year on the back of an NFL defense and got fired shortly thereafter because they were atrocious offensively.

Yes he was a failure

Something that this board would laugh at when it was mentioned that Malzahn was a relatively young college head coach

Had a few people say the weekend at JHS that Gus wanted out.

Who knows if its true or one of those planted rumors for contract purposes.
